Weidman deserved the win. :D

GSP won via split decision! and I thought JH did enough to win. I had it 3-2 for Hendrick. Unbelievable.

if you're fighting against the champion you really have to take it. in my opinion JH didn't really show that he is the better fighter, he only showed that he is the harder puncher. it was a really close fight but i'd still give it to GSP. just like what happened to JBJ and gustafsson, as much as i wanted gustafsson to win, when you're fighting the champ you really can't leave it to the judges.

I had it rounds 2, 3 and 4 for JH. But JH in survival mode in rd 5. Judges prolly give GSP round 3. Anyway, JH should not have left the fight in the judges hand. Here's the replay for those who haven't seen the fight:

i give GSP 1 3 and 5, on the 3rd JH didn't attack much maybe to save his energy? like i said if you're fighting the champ you have to KO him or outclass him in every way and JH didn't do that.

GSP's retirement is unclear though, he didn't say he was retiring yet he just said he's taking a break and not sure for how long or if permanently. honestly he should retire since he is way pass his prime.

I had it at least a draw sana, but being a challenger and not being aggressive lost it for JH imho also.

Yung break niya is for personal reasons daw eh, so malamang he just a little break din talaga. A rematch is a must IMHO.

No challenger can outpoint a champ in a close fight.. Kudos to JH for disfiguring GSP's face, but its not enough for him to win the fight.. Its either you knock out or submit the champ to dethrone him.. Kita nyo si weidman at si pettis.. Matagal tagal na yatang panahon na walang natatalong champ via decision..

JBJ vs Gustaffson is a different story, Gustaffson is clearly robbed..

saw the .gifs, i wouldn't call that a tap out. even if JH did tap out it's GSP's fault for letting it go without the ref stopping the fight first.

in my opinion JBJ only won that fight because he was the champ. i agree with the judges decision on that one, like i said if you're fighting the champ you have to knock him out or out class him in every way. although i think and wanted Gustaffson to win that fight, he didn't really out class JBJ the fight was really really close that it could've been a draw if it wasn't a title fight.
