Maganda game sa wed, UP vs UST. Should UST win, triple tie sila with La Salle sa 2nd spot.
Mike P. has got to work on his free throw shooting and especially now that he is part of the National team competing in the SEA Games.

Another cardiac, & great come from behind game by Ateneo against winless UE. Finally another win! Nice to see Adili back, & his presence shows how vital he is. They have to do better in their succeeding games which is another tough stretch as it would be against La Salle, UST, UP & dangerous Adamson.

It would have been a disaster if Ateneo lost this one. Now it's on to the big one on Sunday vs a 3 man down La Salle squad.

The blue eagles definitely received a big boost w/ adili's return. Although, it's quite noticeable he lost his elevation....and his shooting touch too. What remained is his butter fingers though.😁

Bahay is probably hurting a bit. I don't think he played in the final stretch. Or maybe coach tab is reserving him for what's most probably going to be a rough and tumble series of showdowns.

Either way, the PTs of the blue eagles have their work cut out for them. They're definitely nursing a ragtag team of walking wounded as of the moment.

Wow UP with a 1 point win over UST! Galing ni Alarcon! UST missed 24 of 52 free throws! If they just made 2 more free throws sana. This will haunt them, & probably bite them in the end. In this game & yung sa Adamson, twice nakunan sa Tv na nag shimmy si Forthsky, & then at the end heartbreaking losses for them. Instead of a triple tie for 2nd sana sila with La Salle & UP, now triple tie sila for 4th between Ateneo, & Adamson.

Mukhang nahawa ang UST sa La Salle in terms of free throw shooting.

And nahawa sila sa Ateneo streaking losses hehe.

Remaining games of those tied for 4th spot:

Adamson - NU, UP, DLSU, ADMU
Ateneo - DLSU, UST, UP, AdU
UST - FEU, UE, ADMU, NU

So looks like UST has an inside track to the final four as they seem to have a "lighter" remaining sked with them still meeting FEU & UE.

NU escapes with a 1 point lead over Adamson. Despite the late game blunders by Francisco missing a layup & a turnover by Manansala, Parks came through in the end with a 3 point play & made that important free throw that eventually gave them the win.

Those 2 missed free throws would have sealed the win for Adamson. Pero, pabor rin sa Ateneo and UST ang panalo ng NU.

Yeah missed free throws again! With the lots of overtimes, & 1 point wins, dapat mag practice pa lahat sa free throws.

The cancelled game tom would be crucial for the placing sa final four. Especially for Ateneo who might need to chase that win for a final four slot.

Ah so postponed Pala Ang games later. At least everybody will be safe and dry at home... hopefully.

Oh, well. At the very least the additional resting time and PT time will serve the aching back of adili and the ailing shoulder of Bahay well.
