Haha knowing Coach Tab, he'd still complain about the referees but not as rabid as Gavino hehe.

Tough break for La Salle, even if it's still early, but with 2 of your main guys out, it looks grim though. They probably have to sweep the rest of the games, & hope higher ranked teams get a loss from Adamson & UE in the second round.

Now that the UAAP suspended Lingolingo for 3 games, you guys think it's warranted? Yes/No? Or kulang pa?

La Salle is in for a tough fight this Sunday, but who knows. If they fall to 3-4, definitely the pressure is on them to repeat their run in S86, however this time KQ, Evan Nelle and Mark Nonoy are no longer around and with 2 men out of commission so it's going to be tough. As for Lingo-Lingo, he should have been put on the freezer for the remainder of the season, but the Board has made its' decision.

DLSU losing two of their main dudes one after the other with the same injury is definitely not what I wanted to see this season. Kudos to Baclaan, the kid's a class act.

Toxic casual fans crapping over socmed could learn a thing or two from the players.

Nope. He was going after the ball. OA ang league to suspend him. Dapat nga hinde pa tinawagan yun eh.

The Ateneo women's volleyball team is in dire straits. The team has barely won any games in the 2025 preseason tournaments. Even those mediocre NCAA teams are making mince meat out of the girls!

The talent is there but the coaching is super atrocious. Sayang Lang iyong mga blue chip talents nag-sign up para maglaro sa Loyola heights.

If the athletic dept does not make any coaching changes soon, sa kangkungan talaga pupulutin uli Ang awvt.

As much as one would get pissed on how officiating is effed up at times, di rin maiiwasang maawa sa mga refs especially this one after that gangsta coach mouthed off in the press.

UAAP ref shares pain of being called ‘idiot’: 'It cut deeper than anyone could imagine'

Yeah a lot of people in socmed are calling Coach Sergio a scientist for always experimenting with the line up. I think he should go together with Taks. Mas maganda pa offense nila pag si KC ang setter. Not sure if he can be replaced before the start of uaap volleyball season. Sauang nga mga recruits & mga potentila recruits for the next season like Bulak & Ang, baka mag bago isip with how the team is playing now.

Back in basketball, looks like Bahay won't be playing tom, & not sure till when as his shoulder needs to undergo rehab.

NU is a very dangerous team, and if the trend continues it might be a Sampaloc showdown in the finals but of course the Katipunan neighbors will still have something to say. Eh kami naman... well looks like the trophy won't be heading to Taft at least for this year or even a return trip to the finals given the team being handicapped, unless someone steps up to the plate and leads the team the way KQ did and repeats the big run in S86.

Ateneo also down 2 players (Bahay & Adili), down 18 but came back in the 4th quarter to force over time, but gutsy 2 3pt shots by Francisco nailed the coffin for Ateneo. After a hot 4-0 start, they now end the first round with 3 straight losses against teams ahead of them in the standings.

Good fight by ADMU against NU.

4-3 is not a bad place to be after the 1st round.

It will be a dog fight in the 2nd round.

    GO ATENEO! OBF!

I'm sure UP will do everything to win over La Salle tomorrow, as a loss will tie them with the Archers at 4-3, but will actually end up at solo 5th.

That makes it even more imperative for La Salle to pull off a win tomorrow.

More importantly, a win by La Salle not only puts them 1 win above Adamson, but also creates a triple tie for 3rd place with UP & Ateneo.

^ I think a hefty fine would've sufficed. After all, he already made a fool of himself in the quad media.

As for lingolingo, I'm not sure if the punishment meted on him is commensurate enough. Maybe some form of community service would be a good additional punishment together w/ his eloquent coach .

Having said that, I still don't think lingolingo's dive was a deliberate act meant to maim the la sallite. The lunge was extremely reckless, but to me, l think it was devoid of malice. Magkaka-kilala Naman iyan Sila sa labas Ng uaap. Baka nga nag-sama pa iyan Sila sa mga ligang labas.

I think it's when he called the referees "effin" idiots aside from the f bombs that prompted his suspension. He could have aired his grievances without resorting to personal attacks (something he should have kept to himself)

No Amos, no Baclaan, no problem. La Salle playing inspired basketball & going toe to toe & eventually beat the defending champs. That last play of UP giving the ball to Briones who didn't play the whole game was a head scratcher. Pwede naman k ALarcon, Remogat or Fortea. Exciting second round as every win is vital in jockeying for position.
