UAAP Season 86 (2023-2024)

AGS is turning co-ed but only for Grades 11 and 12 starting SY 2024-2025. The plan is to become progressively co-ed until covered na kinder up to grade 10.

Preparing na ata si coach babes for the years to come. Looks like his contract will be long term.

Hindi ba senior hs yung grade 11 & 12? & ilang years na yata coed yun.

It's the bulldogs vs the blue eagles in tom's Pinoy Liga finals affair.

Tinalo ng nu Ang up w/ a last second shot. Apparently , the loss broke a string of pre-season finals run for the fighting maroons.

Francis Lopez has been a consistent performer for up. He's going to tear up the league in a couple of months. Medyo nakakatakot Lang Kasi masyado daredevil Minsan. Larong pariwara eh

Francis Lopez can be an NBA player he develops further. 6ft 6in and athletic, he has the tools. Huwga lang maging Kobe Paras na walang reliable outside shot. Shooting is the main weapon needed in the NBA now.

I watched the bola.net asiabasket preseason tournament live yesterday and it was surprisingly intense. Former blue eagle stalwart Eric salamat was thrown out of the game when he threw an elbow at ateneo's Paul Garcia. Even the letran and beda boys almost had a fisticuffs moment...w/c actually wasn't a surprise.

I think the news is out that padrigao has been a no show of late at the Loyola heights nest. As far as I can tell ( w/c I mentioned previously) he was conspicuously not included in their Aussie training camp. In their debut game romp against uratex in the aforementioned las pinas city derby, the controversial guard wasn't around either. I guess that's an ominous sign for him and the blue eagles.

I watched the 2nd game of ateneo in the bola.net asiabasket tourney kanina. This time around they went head-to-head vs charles tiu's benilde blazers. it was another intense affair w/c resulted to A player from taft named mara being thrown out of the game because of a punch to the groin of import joe obasa. Big man Will gozum was also assessed a flagrant foul because of an overly excessive physical seal on Paul Garcia.

Several players from both sides had to leave the game because of twisted ankles. Blue eagle forward Joshua Lazaro was also forced into sickbay because of a bloody hit to the head w/c forced his early retirement.

Incoming blue eagle rookie lebron nieto was a revelation. aside from helping to stabilize the back court, He shot 3 successive treys by my count.

With padrigao now out of the roster, nieto will be a big help in sharing the point guard chores of ateneo along w/ fellow newcomers Jared brown and Ian Espinosa.
