rumors are rife that coach oliver almadro has been released by ateneo and will be replaced by sergio veloso, the current brazilian mentor of the hastily assembled men's national team w/c competed in the recent sea games in cambodia. although he failed to steer the said team to any victories, he has had vast experience working w/ the women's national teams of brazil and maldives.

also, according to the grapevine, coach babes castillo , the former tactician who successfully headed the girls nu high school team for several seasons will now be the architect of ateneo juniors volleyball. he will supposedly try to jumpstart the homegrown program of loyola heights come august daw.

Interesting news about coach Babes. He is holding a summer volleyball clinic/training now in our area and he is hands on. One other coach (Allan) assists him.

Ateneo mbt loses back-to-back games in their pre season build -up.

Also, I think they won't be able to finish the current tournament they're in right now because they'll be leaving for japan soon.
