Ok din yung Tsunashima. Limit lang niya errors niya. Good showing din nung Sulit. At least more options against La Salle this Sunday.

naalala ko tuloy iyong walang kamatayang dialogue sa ateneo high na, "bull session na para magka- class unity!".

Nisperos bares what happened inside long, emotional Ateneo meeting after UE game

nice to see alessandrini doing good after those series of operations because of her painful knee ligament tears. she's definitely this season's comeback kid.

i like the attitude of the nu lady bulldogs. kind of reminds me of norman black's ateneo "no yabang" team rule during his 5peat tenure. Although sa mga interview outside the panaflex medyo lumalabas yabang ni Belen Minsan.

Good to see Alessandrini get back IJsselmeer the game after that injury scare. She made timely plays when she got back that helped UST get the win.

Ah talaga? Haven’t seen though an interview of her outside the court. She just seems bubbly & innocent parang no yabang naman.

The blue eagle teams were beaten black and blue today. It would be interesting to see how they'd return from this afternoon's systematic flogging.

Personally, it was a welcome sight to finally watch lomocso being given considerable burn time on the taraflex. She's going to be instrumental if the blue eagles are to barge into the final 4. A little more seasoning and I think she's going to be a considerable force up front.

As for the men's side, coach Timmy has got his work cut out for him. Lumalaban Naman sila nung pre-season tournaments so they're capable.

    Obf!

    you speak the truth, brother.

case in point was the time when the nu management decided to let go of the core of the bemedalled nu bull pups of abadiano, tamayo, quiambao, alarcon, etc to concentrate in preventing of the break-up the winning squad of the then girls' high school volleyball team of theirs. the executive decision to redirect their resources to a solid volleyball program has paid in spades because as of the moment, it seems that the gate tills of live taraflex events and its tv broadcasts are raking it in compared to pba happenings.

    kanya-kanyang oras nga lang talaga.

Why would they let go of their winning hs basketball team? To support the hs girls volleyball team instead? Not sure but wouldn’t the Men’s basketball have more viewership than wonen’s volleyball? Thus more mileage for them if they supported it instead? Surely their sponsor has one of the deep pockets in the league & can support both.

^ i think the sy family is playing the long game.

let's put it this way, the nu mbt has got little to no fans outside their own community. their ladies volleyball team on the other hand, has got its own rabid fanbase all over the country. if and when they elevate that core to the pvl (wala naman drafting system pa doon kaya mukhang pwede) , where the sys are said to be planning to field their own corporate team in the future, half the work will be done for them in terms of popularity and industry wide media mileage.

and in terms of viewership and counting warm bodies in the stands, volleyball can probably now , both in the amateurs and the pros, stand toe-to-toe against each other.

Ang laki talaga Ng effect sa pagkakawala ni sir thor lim sa ateneo volleyball. His sudden passing threw a monkey wrench into the once formidable taraflex vball program at loyola heights. Na-rendered to the sidelines tuloy sila tony boy Liao, coach tai, pati ata si palou matagal na Hindi na involved sa management as a result.

I'm sure questions are abound if it was ok fro Coach O to have 2 coaching jobs. Might be too risky changing coaches in the middle of the season. With how strong the other teams are specially La Salle & NU, I doubt we'll even reach the finals nor even the final four. Maybe they should just play it out with Coach O then reassess na lang at the end of the sesaon if palitan siya.

Another loss for Ateneo, & a 3 set one at that. Things are looking grim for them. Coach O was able to bring a championship naman before. Maybe the problem is with these batch of players?

Not looking good, the worse start in 12 years ... UAAP volleyball Adamson Lady Falcons beat Ateneo Blue Eagles

But watching the games, may pag-asa pa for redemption.

I hope that if indeed it's the caliber of the players that has declined, they should admit it and release a statement as a team that they fully support Coach O and that they are in this for the long haul, no matter what. Unity in the face of this early adversity is more important than current standings. Normal lang naman na minsan mas malakas at magaling lang talaga kalaban. Mahalaga is they are not losing hope and confidencee.

Walang sisihan kumbaga. The ball is indeed round.

La Salle still unbeaten! Galing talaga nung super rookie Canino! Imagine 4 more years of her playing!

Ateneo finally gets another win against UP. Sa Men’s Basketball magka level sila, pati sa Women’s volleyball same din hehe. With my girl Gandler as player of the game! Sana this could help build confidence sa team para sa second round. With their standing though now, dapat ata ma sweep nila second round to gain entry sa final four which is highly unlikely.
