Hahahaha matagal nang “coed” ang Ateneo hehe.

Nung HS we used to climb the bakod sa may football field. May nilagay pang chair para mas madalli umakyat. Then yung other side La Vista na. Then we be able to smoke na hehe. We would then go to the park & meet up with the girls from Maryknoll/Miriam.

Btt: Still a fan of the WVT even though it looks like NU or La Salle would be champs in seasons to come with how stacked they are.

This will be fun to watch.

Btw today is the start of the seniors vball tournament!

If it were not for this pandemic, Dwight Ramos would have suited up for Ateneo.

Imagine having him in the line up when ADMU battled UP during MBT tourney before last

Defending champs NU putting on a clinic & making quick work of Ateneo. Even a late run at the end is still not enough to overcome a huge lead to even still a set.

Coach Ramil still won’t be coaching pala? Ano sakit niya?

Alyssa Solomon powers NU past Ateneo in UAAP volley

On the consolation side, buti nalang at 1st game pa lang ito. Mahaba pa ang season.

Not sure why almadro stuck w/ a 5'5 fujimito at the setter position when they have a 5'9 lamocso in the same position. Butas tuloy Ang net defense the whole game.

When lamocso's no. Was finally called during the last stretch of the game, They were able to save 7 straight match points because they became a wall up front. But the lead was just too much to overcome at that point.

I hope lamocso starts or at least goes into the rotation earlier than the waning moments of the game para Naman may laban Ang blue eagles next time around. She's a real asset that should be exploited to the hilt.

When lamocso was inserted in the 3rd set , na stop Ang rampage Ng lady bull dogs immediately. I doubt that was a coincidence Kasi 7 straight match points Ang na save nila.

Lamocso's long arms and height Changed the complexion of the game suddenly eh

Sayang nga yung run sa huli, but the lead was too big na e.

Yeah sana nga they can train Lamocoso more or expose her longer sa games.

^ Jia is 5'7 and so is Deanna Wong. They were relatively tall in the collegiate scene That's why both of them were effective net defenders.

Jaja is 5'5 and her sub last season was taks fujimito (5'5 too) who is now the #1 setter of the team. To be fair, jaja, like jia - has a very high vball IQ that’s why she was effective last season even though she wasn't a killer defender unlike Ella "the elevator" de Jesus who also stands at 5'5.

We have a 5'6 fil-hawaiian setter red shirting this season so sayang Ang timing din. Kaya si lomocsa sana Ang pag-asa .

Lakas din pala ng UST that they were able to stretch the game against La Salle to 5 sets.

If memory serves me correctly, the Blue Eagles WVT was not in the radar for a Final Four appearance

Let's see them pull off some surprises this season

Lakas din pala ng Adamson. Stretching the game against defending champs NU to 5 sets. Mukhang tight ang magiging final four, although still early to tell.
