Log jam at the top of the standings for basketball:

ADMU, ADU, FEU at 5-2, DLSU at 4-3.

Pretty tight season. The second round should be fun to watch.

    Surprised ust is winning games.
    They just defeated feu.

It must have been the coach.

tyler tio finally showed everybody what he's made off w/ his solid play in this afternoon's bruising victory against the up fighting maroons. his heady leadership more than made-up for the absence of the blue eagle's injured primary pg - matt nieto.

i really like watching those intense chase down blocks of thirdy. he's definitely the most versatile baller of the ravena clan.

Prince Orizu seems to have suffered a serious knee injury while running back on D vs the Blue Eagles.

Hope it's nothing serious as that would certainly tilt the balance of power against the Tams.

    Injury looks bad.
Kwame of ateneo is eating up feu.

Meanwhile, i like the feu rookie stockton. Seems to have a natural feel for the game.

La Salle's shooting really took a day off, scoring only two points in the first period.

Great game by UP. Already a decent showing whatever happens the next 4 games. They just have to be consistent on defense.

Akhuete's consistency and Paul Desiderio's 31 points notwithstanding, Juan GDL's shot and playmaking is a revelation. Can't wait to see what the team looks like with Kobe Paras in the lineup next year.

The second quarter is the turning point of tue game when la salle didn't took advantage of Ateneo's Kuoame sitting on the bench.

So cansino ended his promising debut season w/ a torn acl. After injuring his ankle in 2 consecutive matches, this happens in the next game. Poor kid

the fighting maroons overseeing the overseers of their crucial basketball match against dlsu

UP foundation to tap independent referees to oversee UP-La Salle game | Tiebreaker Times

but as long as perasol is at the helm of their basketball team, that nowheretogobutup slogan will always be just a slogan.

even w/ the entry of the much hyped kobe paras (na kinakain lang sa gilas cadets program), the future of the upmbt to get that hardware will always be in doubt.

    To add:

Just look at Tab of ateneo. They are not favored to beat mbala's lasalle but got so.

Ayo transformed a very weak ust lineup to being respectable.

Franz pumaren. Unlocked the potential of adamson that is been hibernating since early part of the century. Adamson always fielded an intriguing lineup but always falls short due to coaching and development.

On the other end of the spectrum, you got UE with its constant shuffling of coaches.
