But look at the number of championships NU got. They got 8! The only reason they didn’t win the GC was because they don’t participate in all sports. They have a more balanced sporting program than any team in the UAAP

Let’s hope Prince goes to another school. I heard that the bad seed is really Prince. Nadamay lang itong si Rikki.

Apparently, yes. I heard Prince is really a party boy, BI... siguro nainis na rin si Bos D, kasi scholars since hs in GH. Who knows. UP alums are upbeat. UP used to be a force to contend with but times have changed, with recruitment & all.

As long as his academics and of course yun basketball are not being affected. I say let them be. It's college naman. Parties and having a good time is part of college life. Lalo na athlete pa siya.

Am a bit surprised w/ kobe's move to diliman considering he has been a danding kid ever since he & his brother transferred to lsgh from ateneo.

I think deciding to play for up-d will be a positive for the brash paras. After saying local collegiate varsity is mediocre & his struggle to be consistent as a gilas cadet, a little dose of humble pie would do him good.

Yes, Kobe is one of the two sons of Benjie Paras - a former maroon and the only rookie-MVP of the PBA.

He helped UP win their only UAAP basketball ring with the help of Altamirano and Magsanoc.

I guess you are too young to know who Benjie Paras is.

Thanks for the compliment . But I know Benjie Paras as a PBA player and had heard that he was a UP Maroons when I was residing in Kalayaan

I am not even from Diliman campus but I follow the Maroons through thick or thin (mostly through thin hahaha)
Kaunti lang an sumikat na pro bball player from UP so Paras and Co. is very hard to forget.

Dapat jan mag quiz muna bago maglaro. Minus sa score yung mga mali sa quiz hahaha

twice a year naman kami mag bonfire bro .hehe once after every sem to celebrate student-athlete's night - championship season or not.

pero i suspect somebody just concocted this student-athlete's night thing for alums, college students, and non-atenean fans to dine and wine legally in the campus

Nasa DLSU na pala si Encho. UAAP: Encho Serrano ready for redemption now in La Salle | ABS-CBN Sports

I hope na busisihin ng mabuti ng La Salle yung credentials nitong bata because I've been reading in other forums about him lacking a diploma. Mahirap na pagsumabit na naman.

Next goal for UP is to match Tab Baldwin's coaching.
Ibang calibre kasi itong si Baldwin.
    Not fancy but effective.
