after the massacre at the hands of dlsu in the 1st round, i said only a miracle can save the blue eagles from another beat down, and a miracle did come, in the form of isaac go's solid development. his splendid all around performance totally offset the lethal athletic prowess of ben mbala rendering the cameroonian one frustrated manster.

it's now apparent coach tab and the rest of the coaching staff's faith in go has been paying off in spades. his stat line of 10 pts, 9 rebs, and 1 block against the best frontline in the league shows what this gangling young man from xavier high school is capable of doing. if he keeps his focus and continuously works hard at practice, who knows, this walking wonder wall may actually turn out to be one of the most effective big men in college in a year or two
