^^ And Kiefer threw a lot of bricks.

I still think Keifer is overhyped. I saw the game of Thompson ng perpetual. It's more complete and polish. Saka hinde pilit mga tira. I don't know if it's just because yun competition sa NCAA is less than UAAP. But if Ravena is not playing for ateneo. Hinde ganyan kasikat yan. Alagang MVP kasi.

Saka grabe sa pagka flopper si Ravena.

Mahina talagang coach si Bo Perasol. What a collapse. Kevin caught fire pa. Recipe for a loss.

Bawi na lang 2nd game. Sana. Hehe

Thompson and Ravena are my favorite college ballers. Thompson has recorded 8 (i think) triple doubles this season alone. BTW he'll be turning pro after this ncaa season after being drafted 4th overall by Ginebra. I hope he'll be having a good future with Tim Cone.

But i think, the level of competition is just the same. Just look at abueva, sangalang, they are from ncaa and they are productive naman sa pba.

Ngayon ko lang napanood. Nakahabol pala uste.

On the other hand, UP, cant seem to win any games anymore.

They should have made the necessary adjustment.
Worse they exactly repeated what they did sa live telecast :hysterical:

At the end, Final 4 will be UST, FEU, NU & Ateneo.

Cheer dance competition na lang ang pagasa ng the rest and that will be this coming Saturday.

uninspired and unimaginative coaching from perasol yesterday. when a team loses a 16 point lead and gets beaten by 10 when the final whistle blows, the blame rests solely on the coach

now, i'm really convinced a still hurting mvp is sticking it to ateneo by leaving bo in-charge of the blue eagles

but there's still a few more games in the 1st round and whole slew of challenges ahead in the next, i'm looking forward to the blue eagles redeeming themselves in slam bang fashion (of course, i'm keeping my fingers crossed here :D).

win or lose, it's the school we choose!

    one big fight!

    +1 on this

With regards to the level of competition between NC and UA, this season may laban ang NC. And star players of NC are chasing TDs while UA players are just going after scoring titles.

Unfortunately, NCAA lost it's glamor along with the move by DLSU & Ateneo to the UAAP. There are very good players in the NCAA ranks, like Jonathan Grey of Benild, who are virtual unknowns in basketball outside of the NCAA. They should combine the 2 leagues na lang to see which is the best school in the land. My money goes to San Beda, in this case.

I guess it's in the support of their respective student bodies na rin. UAAP has already garnered a faithful following with the UAAP teams whether winning or losing. Idagdag pa ang mga non-UAAP studes. Dami nyan hanggang sa probinsya. NCAA is just starting to build-up pa lang. But I guess between basketball and volleyball, the latter has the better chance to attract a following, especially sa women's. Nakakatulong din kasi that they are exposed sa other tournaments like the Shakey's V-League.
