Galang is definitely out of the championship game.

Freeze it at 00:04 to 00:05. Not for the squeamish, I should say.

    It is an ugly fall.

Hope she gets well for next season. It would have been nice to see the Valdez v Galang sideshow.

    GO ATENEO! OBF!

Ang sama pala landing ni Ara. Get well soon. The finals would be better nga if Ara was there. Tough break for DLSU, but a possible rallying point for an upset. Ingat AdMU!

Isa na ata sa pinakamalakas na serve na nakita ko yung kay singh. Grabe, sumisibat. Di pa jumpserve yun.

Yung kay galang, mcl, acl, ang knee injury. 8 months rest daw.
She tore 2 ligaments*plus meniscus on her knee. After 1 month, pa surgery, or after the swelling subsides.

Di na sulit manood ng finals. DLSU ADMU without a Valdez vs Galang isn't gonna be all that exciting. Noone in DLSU's roster can give the same output as Galang. Closest will be Demecillo but still not championship material. Cheng, Soyud, and Baron are still good for the middle but with only Justine Tiu as their secondary open spiker, malabo na yan.

They're competing against a complete ADMU team that they couldn't beat in the regular season even with Galang on board.

Hay, of all people to get injured, si Galang pa. She's probably the most likeable among the volleyball superstars in UAAP kasi wala siyang ere, and she's a very calm team captain.

I just hope that her knee recovers to full strength by next next season. Kahit season 78 alanganin siya. She can just sit out season 78, focus on being healthy, then spend her last playing year in season 79.

sa akin sulit pa din ang panunuod niyan kasi:

    1. since denden lazaro is set to proceed to med school upon her graduation this month, this may be the last time i'll get to see arguably the best libero in the country today in a volleyball uniform,

    2. the magical trio of ella "the ellavator" de jesus, alyssa valdez, and lazaro playing together will be just a footnote of uaap lore after this season,

    3. and it's not everyday i'd get to witness a team, infamously tagged as a perennial doormat, win successive championships. mind you, w/ all the teams in the league retooling their coaching staff and mindset to keep in pace w/ the innovations brought about by coach tai and the ladies from loyola heights, this successful campaign for ateneo may not happen again (if they do succeed in the finals series)

w/ the lady archer's captain sitting out the rest of the season, i think the offense of dlsu has become unpredictable coming into game 1. but they pay the coaching staff big bucks for situations like these so the ladies in blue and white are in good hands

    one big fight!

But this one is already written:

"Informed that they’re the first team in UAAP history to score 15 straight wins, Valdez was her usual, jovial self" (source: After Game 1 win, Alyssa Valdez says Ateneo should work on errors)

"The Lady Eagles have now won 15 straight games, the longest winning streak in a season for women's volleyball. They have a 17-game winning streak stretching back to the Season 76 Finals." (source: Ateneo one win away from women's volleyball title | ABS-CBN News)

nadali nanaman tuhod kanina ng isa pang lady archer. i hope it's nothing serious because she reportedly suffered an acl tear 3 years ago

if coach ramil can't find a way to rally his troops and neutralize the attacks of ateneo, it's going to be a golden double for the ateneo volleyball seniors program this season

    one big fight!
