i agree. kaya naman early-on everyone is conscious about their respective W/L standing. a "tsamba" win or an upset loss may mean either gaining or losing the lusted for twice-to-beat advantage come the final 4

mamaya baragan ang african mastadons. it's gonna be a bruising battle between ust's abdul and ue's mammie and arafat. what i don't get though is coach derek's tendency to let mammie cool down in the bench even if he's having a good game. nuong 2nd quarter ng match nila against ateneo halos buong 2nd quarter binangko si charles. and then he was used sparingly in the 2nd half of that game. bakit kaya?

Because Mammie was in foul trouble at that time. 2 fouls din pa tapos 2nd quarter. He is conserving him for the 4th quarter...

    could be.

but mammie reportedly played only 2 + mins in the 4th quarter and only 4 1/2 mins in overtime. si arafat talaga priority maglaro as shown during their previous games

iffy daw si abdul mamaya. may sakit ata or something

Without Abdul, the match was not as hot as expected

The second round should be very interesting

apparently, ue made a last minute schedule change thus resulting to an early 2nd round ateneo-dlsu joust. very disorganized hosting job these guys from sampaloc are doing

Malas namin sa DLSU because of this change we are undermanned going against ADMU. Wala si AVO, wala siguro si Bear, at baka wala din si Montalbo. If it was the old schedule baka makalaro pa sila...

    ^^ talk about paranoia!

ito daw ang rason sa sched change: UAAP board members talk about scheduling change ? Rivals Sports Network

nag-sisi siguro ngayon si sauler at hindi niya nilagay ang full 16 man line-up. luigi dela paz would've been an adequate filler for any of the 3 injured guards and tampus surely would've given an additional pair of legs to the present 9 man rotation dlsu has. heck, even manguerra would've been very serviceable
