many members of the engineering faculty of LA SALLE came from UST thats why we fawn on our display of RESPECT for them

we can only egg on UST by mimicking their exhortation for it brings out the BEST in us to contend with such a GREAT institution

Parang sister schools nga sila in terms of Faculty, most of my UST profs dati take their grad school sa LaSalle, tapos maraming LaSalle profs din eh prof din or alumni or grad school students sa UST. Kaya either way kung sino magchampion eh walang talo. hehe

OT: Bert is one of the better professors of Engineering(ECE). So is del Rosario and Gutierrez and a bunch of others.

The ECE Faculty was essentially built on UST's graduates and professors,- them being the pioneers in this field.

FEU star Romeo joins PBA draft
    By Jasmine W. Payo

FAR EASTERN University’s Terrence Romeo pulled off a surprise yesterday as the reigning UAAP Most Valuable Player joined the PBA Rookie Draft and automatically gave up his final eligibility year in the collegiate league.
Romeo beat the deadline by a couple of hours to join fellow FEU star guard RR Garcia in one of the most talent-filled Draft pool led by NCAA MVP Ian Sangalang of San Sebastian and Ateneo’s seven-foot center Greg Slaughter.
A total of 84 pro hopefuls signed up for the Draft set on Nov. 3 at Robinsons Place Manila.
Romeo’s decision turned out to be the most unexpected as he had vowed to play his fifth and final year with the Tamaraws just last week.
The 5-foot-11 Romeo led the league both in points scored at 22.2 ppg and steals at 1.6 spg aside from averaging a third-best 3.9 assists and 6.3 rebounds.
Barangay Ginebra owns the No. 1 pick and has reportedly narrowed its choice between big men Sangalang and Slaughter.
Romeo and Garcia, the 1-2 punch of the Tamaraws, may even wind up as teammates anew if they get drafted in the middle of the first round where Barako Bull owns three consecutive picks starting at fourth.
University of Santo Tomas’ top gunner Jeric Teng also recently made himself available for the pros after a stellar performance in the UAAP Finals where his Tigers narrowly fell short against new champion La Salle.
“I’m nervous because you never know what will happen there,” said Teng, the son of former PBA player Alvin Teng. “It’s a different level, so I have to be quicker, stronger and more efficient in everything. I just hope I’ll end up with a team that really needs me.”
Ateneo standout Ryan Buenafe, another last-minute applicant, joined the pool with fellow Blue Eagles Nico Salva, the two-time Finals MVP who figured in five UAAP title romps, and big men Justin Chua and JP Erram.
Letran center Raymond Almazan is also expected to go high....

    eto sabi ni Coach Nash

"RR has really matured in terms of playmaking skills. Terrence has the skills also pero even though kailangan pa niya ng konting maturity, nakikita ko na rin na he is slowly getting there,” said the FEU coach.

pag alam mo maglaro at madumi isip mo iba iisipin mo sa sinabi nya kay Romeo

Team B ba ito ng Ateneo Men's Senior's Basketball Team?

Looks like they have a 6-10 center.

Yep, that's team Glory B. :D I'd imagine the season would have been different had Pingoy been allowed to play.

If the stupid "Pingoy Rule" is upheld, then season 78 pa siya. But if the court ruling with the UP swimmer is upheld then that changes things.

Aside from Ravena, i think the son of Norman Black is also on the way to the collegiate leagues.

My take is that the court will annul the 2 year rule made by the UAAP Board

Si Thirdy Ravena and the other Ateneo Junior transferees to the University will not be affected though

    No idea bro. Coz it'll happen in 10 years pa. (if we follow the trend: 2002 to 2006 = 4 years, 2006 to 2013 = 7 years, 2013 to 2023 = 10 years. Hahaha!)

Has Thirdy decided already on where he'll be studying college?

di pa ba sya locked in sa ateneo? napapaisip siguro na mag ala Teng brothers.

hanap sya team na maging star player sya rather than playing in kuya's shadow.
