Okay na din yung decision, atleast one less "hothead" in the lasalle team. Besides he is dispensable, its not as if naman he is the architect of the vaunted "killer press" kaya he should take responsibility for what he has done.

I was kinda hoping that dlsu fire him for the embarrassment that he has caused. Kung kami ngang mga estudyante mahulihan lang ng FHM sa campus sipa na, e tong manager na ito katakot takot na skandalo ang pinakita on nationwide TV. Its kinda ironic how bro. armin is going around town denouncing gma for all the dishonesty/mismanagement he has done to our country, pero on this issue wala siyang ginawang action, hinintay pa niyang UAAP ang humatol. Ive read salgado's statements, he doesnt even sound remorseful... tsk... tsk... tsk...

His actions were very irresponsible, he could have started a melee at Araneta. Being an asst. team manager of a school team, he is also considered as a school official. As such, his single punch on Santos brought shame upon DLSU students, faculty and alumni. To whom he should also offer his apologies.

IMO naman, kulang yung sanction dahil 2x na nya ginawa yung action na yun. nasayang lang yung pagod ni Yeo(which one of the best lasalle players for me) and the whole lasalle community sa pinakita ni salgado. if santos says something bad, confront him directly and not a cheap shot(parang batang isip). imagine pagkabatok(suntok) biglang tumakbong parang asong duwag sa kanyang lunga. dapat nga kung bigla syang napuno e paninindigan nya(not run, oh my god parang walang b***s). me intensyon talaga sya manakit.
m2; i think punching between players is different sa case ni salgado. kung ang 2 players ay magkainitan e acceptable since silang dalawa ang nasa court. i think kaya ang nba e may malaking parusa sa mga team officials/players on the bench who enter the court in case may gulo. kung silang lima on each team lang magaaway e mas madaling controlin kaysa lahat.
players trash talk, we cannot stop it. sabi nga ILD, mapikon talo. and to mr. salgado, , he can try taiwan/korean(?) politics. dun me katapat sya. .02cents.

pure blooded La Sallian ako. Kinahihiya namin yung ginawa ni Manny.
I myself condemn what Manny did pero pls naman, wag naman niyo husgahan ang mga La Sallista tulad namin. He deserves that punishment. Pinahiya niya ang La Salle. Indeed, a very cheap act.

Seems like DLSU just got a taste of their own medicine and they couldnt seem to swallow the bitter pill of defeat. Remember this is the team that danced while there was still a game going on; they posed in the middle of the court; took a timeout with 30 seconds left, kahit tambak na ang kalaban. Nung sila naman sinayawan ni arwind, sila ang hindi nakatiis at napikon... I just don't have respect for this DLSU team. Hats off to the likes of aldeguer, ritualo, cortez and the like, but for this team as a whole...respect is not in their vocabulary.

What's sad sad is I have heard some Lasallian defend the actions of Salgado. In my POV, kahit anong mangyari ito ay mali. If ever Arwind said something, he had no business reacting the way he did.

I also heard some Lasallian say pagbigyan mo na si Salgado because we have a winning tradition and we are not used to losing... pathetic

im also a lasallian and im very ashamed of what he did. many lasallian students are very mad at him right now because he really did destroyed our image. and i think the punishment was right. pero sabi nga dont genaralize that all lasallians are like that... thanks... may game 2 pa hehehehehe... sana umabot pa ng game 3 kahit di kami magchampion para masaya.

I hate la salle. 'coz of what it did to ateneo. yea, yea, i'm just sourgraping. but i hate ateneo even more 'coz it din't have the balls to put up a semblance of a fight against la salle (lang). I mean, they (ateneo) beat feu, they beat every team. Tapos, la salle di manalo-nalo sa feu. go figure
