credit that to coach joe lipa's vision. he designed and instituted a program which was holistic in nature because it encompassed the grade school, high school, and collegiate levels. and then he also brought credibility to ateneo basketball that's why the likes of tenorio, membrere, alvarez, cruz, et al. began signing up w/ a school that was then known to be a basketball has been. it's just unfortunate that his coaching stint w/ ateneo ended up w/ no uaap trophies.

the funny thing is he tried to do that w/ up too (w/c is his alma mater) but he failed to do so because supposedly the various frats of up wasn't seeing eye to eye the reason being is bacsically they had their own "manoks" and agendas

btw, the drought for the blue eagles even began in the early nineties, and that was the period of time ateneans now call the "dark ages" where the only aim before was to beat dlsu. pag nanalo ng isang laro laban sa green archers parang feeling champions na kami nun

Yup, i know that dark ages. Medyo OT but when Admu went to our school for their recruitment of college students, included sa program yung isang video wherein DLSU (Jason Webb was still there) was soundly beaten by AdMU pero siyempre laglag na sa F4 yung skul natin.

Bro, join us in the Blue Eagles group.
