lakers - celtics forever for me. it's very personal too, because my dad is a celtics fan (taga-boston eh) while i have always been a lakers fan...so the rivalry has existed pretty much my entire life

Has to be the Lakers/Celtics. Since 60s pa. Then revibed by Bird/Magic. The nice thing about the Bird/Magic era is that, they carried over their college [NCAA] rivalry into the NBA. Although Magic's Michigan State beat Bird's Indiana, I believe Bird got the MVP award.

yeah right the pistons had a good run back then didn't they. was it late 80s or early 90s. they had isaiah thomas, joe dumars, john salley and the really bad boys: bill laimbeer, dennis rodman and rick mahorn. lahat yata ng fight highlight reels noon were pistons. mahorns 'butt'-ing out a stumbling bird to the sidelines, laimbeer's punching danny ainge who is half his size, and rodman.... well too many to mention.
