Tickets for Pacers-Rockets Philippine preseason game to go on sale June 16 | InterAKTV
Tickets for the NBA preseason game between the Indiana Pacers and the Houston Rockets in the Philippines in October are set to go on sale on June 16, announced the NBA and SM on Friday.
The game, dubbed NBA Global Games Philippines 2013, is part of the NBA’s comprehensive Global Games schedule and will be the first-ever preseason game in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia.
Tickets for the game will be available for purchase online at the SM Tickets website (www.smtickets.com).
The Pacers, who are currently playing against the defending champion Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals, and the Rockets are both playoff teams that feature several All-Stars and rising young players on their rosters like Paul George, James Harden, Roy Hibbert and Chandler Parsons.
Houston has played outside of the US and Canada 13 times, including four games in China and two in Japan, while the Pacers have played overseas twice.
The NBA Global Games will bring eight NBA teams to play in six countries this October. The Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards are all slated to compete.
The game is also expected to be televised live over NBA TV.

MANILA - SM has released the official ticket prices for the Houston Rockets vs Indiana Pacers pre-season game at the SM Mall of Asia on October 10, 2013.
The cheapest ticket (SECTION E GRAY) for the preseason game is P550 while the most expensive (PREMIUM A RED) is at P32,300. This is higher than the P27,000 tickets sold during the Rihanna "Diamonds World Tour" concert at SM MOA last April.
Below are the official ticket prices for the NBA Global Games: Rockets vs Pacers at Mall of Asia Arena:
PREMIUM A RED - PHP 32,300
PREMIUM B GREEN - PHP 27,000
SECTION C BLUE - PHP 8,400
SECTION D ORANGE - PHP 4,200
SECTION E GRAY - PHP 550
Tickets will be on sale starting June 16, 2013, 10 am, at all SM Tickets outlets and at www.smtickets.com. Organizers said a total of 16,000 tickets will be available for sale to the public.
The Rockets vs Pacers game will mark the NBA’s first preseason game in Southeast Asia. The Pacers are currently lagging behind the Miami Heat, 3-2, in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
