Here's the thing: my grandmother, who's currently in a coma and in the ICU of UST's Hospital, underwent blood transfusion. To replace the blood she used, I went to their blood bank to replace whatever's used with mine.
I donate blood on a quarterly basis, as they said it's good for the health and beneficial for those who are in need of it. I don't normally experience pain during the extraction or such, but I pretty much had a strain after giving blood this time around.
My arm just hurts everytime I just let it lay around while I stand, moving it normally as I walk hurts even more. I went to our family Doc to ask about it and he said it may just be a result of the blood donation, but it's been already a week and it just still hurts. I had it X-Rayed and whatever medical checks our doctor asked, but it's still there.
Quite frankly it's been ruining my judgment and my mood is just killing me everytime it hurts. I then so asked him to just have it casted for now, but for some reason he just wouldn't, saying "it's not needed" et al.
I thought of having it casted as I've noticed that when it's in the position similar to that of a man with a casted arm, the pain isn't pretty much present.
I tried consulting another Doc for second opinions, but he's pretty much as clueless as our family Doc. I do not wish to discuss this further with other Docs just to get my way or so, heck I don't even have all the time to spend lining up in a hospital just to be told "it's not needed". But it does in fact hurt and I'll be paying anyway.
So what I'd like to ask now is that if anyone knows a doctor who would just cast my arm up, charge me, and ask no questions whatsoever? This arm is just really too much of a hassle these days and I'm pretty much sure it's getting on my colleagues' nerves as well.
