we're a long way to the olympics. the philippine style of playing basketball will never take us anywhere. we've patterned it too much with the americans, albeit twice slower.

as you have seen over the past few years, the americans are also being beaten (argentina, and eastern european countries) in the game they invented.

you need speed, a run and gun team. ala manu ginobli dapat. you need big players who can rebound and protect the basket, yet run like sprinters. think of the dirk nowitzki.

the american NBA-style focuses too much on flair and showmanship. to win in the international circuit, you need a cohesive team. sabi nga sa Goal! the Movie:
