Double whamy pag di tayo pinayagan maglaro sa SEABA. Masyado dragging na to away ng BAP and POC. Pasaway ang BAP at pinadala pa rin nila yung team nila despite their expulsion as a NSA by the POC. Eto pa naman yung qualifying tourney for the FIBA Men’s Championship (formerly ABC) in Doha, Qatar in September. Sayang naman preparation nina Coach Chot if the Philippines fails to participate in SEABA.

baket kasi sobrang asa mga pinoy sa bball hehe, concentrate on sports that don't require height as an advantage.

yes, its a great sport, but to continue riding on the 70's glory days is quite pathetic for phil sports.

kung SEA lang naman... may pagasa ang Pinoy ballers...

but once you add the more disciplined teams of Korea, Japan & China... medyo taob na.

pasaway talaga yang BAP na yan... kapal ng mukha.

hehehe maliit talaga Pinoy pagdating sa Basketball. what further compounds the problem is that there's too much politics involved sa atin *sigh* what else is new? too much bickering IMO.

Parang nasira sports dito dahil sa politics.... daming dedicated and magagaling na athletes dito...

Mga barkada ko sa national team sa karate nakakadismaya, pati mga budget sa uniform and allowances di binibigay unless magkagulo na sa kahihingi.

Yung team ng PBFI is a selection of top amateur players reinforced by PBA Players 25 years old below (i.e. Kerby Raymundo, Enrico Villanueva)

Yung BAP, rag tag team of collegiate stalwarts and ex pro. Promising lang dito sa team na ito is UE's KG Canaleta. Would you believe nasa line-up nila si Reuben De Larosa and Richard Melencio.

Di ko naman minamaliit ang BAP team pero we want to assure we win the SEABA Tourney for us to Qualify sa ABC where Chot's PBA selection Team will play.

RP stint in SEABA caging uncertain
