What's the deal with Rommel's brother (Cesar Montano)? AFAIK isa lang naman yung punch na 'foul' na galing kay Wolfe. Hindi naman yun pro boxing kaya natural lang na may 1 or 2 punches na medyo off. Kahit nga sa pro boxing AFAIK they are allowed a couple of 'foul punches', may warning, then next may bawas na sa score.
Tsaka he was knocked down twice, TKO on the second knock-down. IMHO Rommel didn't stand a chance.

September 10th, 2006 05:59 PM #5Rommel and co. knew all along that Wolfe outweighed him by 30+ pounds and yet he accepted the fight. It was a dirty and sloppy fight by both of them. http://www.**********.com/?d=CLBMC757 Rommel came out winging with wide looping punches, entangling his arms with Wolfe's head. Wolfe of course used his superior size and strength to break free and threw Montano around like a rag doll. Montano got caught with a short right that nearly knocked him out.
The following week, the Montano brothers were being interviewed on the Buzz. They said the usual loser crap like "idinaan lang sa laki, blah blah, blah." After their excuses, Rommel said that he will fight Wolfe in a rematch granting that Wolfe drains 30+ pounds. Hello, boxing in both amateur and professional levels have weight divisions to begin with. Why the hell didn't Cesar Montano, self-proclaimed amateur boxer, stop Rommel from going up against Wolfe in the very first place what with Wolfe's obvious size advantage? They must have thought "papogi lang' to, yakang-yaka."

Sayang hindi natuloy yung laban nila ni erwin tulfo.

In all other matches before the Main event featuring Montano-Wolfe, medyo light ang atmosphere. Pa-kwela pa nga sina Bayani Agbayani.
