ngayon gabi nagdrive ako sa aurora boulevard. So nadaanan ko Universty of the East Ramon Magsaysay.

WHo is Dr Iggy Agbayani???
Dr. Benigno “Iggy” Agbayani, Jr., on “Philippines COVID-19 Response, What we got right and wrong” on Nov. 4. Dr. Agbayani is a fellow UP alumnus (BS Biology, Medical Degree, and Residency at UP-PGH). He is currently the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics, Manila Doctors Hospital.
the fact is,
it is not easy for a physician to prescribe ivermectin to humen against covid,
because ivermectin is registered in the country as a veterinary medication.
as current law stands, doing so is potentially tantamount to medical malpractice.
in truth, covid aside, "how would you feel, if your doctor prescribed to you a medicine commonly known as a de-worming drug for animals" ?
i once prescribed the much-advertised combantrin to a patient. i could see his eyes point skyward...
days ago, the fda head has said, "every one is yearning for ivermectin, but strangely, nobody has yet applied for a licence to use ivermectin for humen against covid. as it currently stands, ivermectin in the country is a veterinary medication."
bakit sinesecreto pa ng DOH. Sabihin na kasi puro na lang patago.
Dapat next in line na available eh legalization of marijuana and of its derivatvies and thyroid hormones from pork porcine.
Business school?
uy magaling yang si Dr. Agbayani. He was my ortho when i fractured my left humerus on a motorcycle accident. Instead of putting a permanent titanium implant, he was able to fix the fracture by temporarily inserting two metal pins, thus no need for a lifetime foreign object inside my arm.
^
so lumalabas alam ni doctor agbayani ginagawa nya about ivermectin.
So mas nakamura ka pa pala?
Basta UP med (all the way) mostly magaling talaga![]()

Nagaral lang daw si Dr Agbayani, who’s an orthopedic surgeon and not an infectious disease doctor, regarding covid and ivermectin for 4 months only during the pandemic (when konti lang daw orthopedic patients). And now touts as an ivermectin-specialist!
And he doesn’t even treat covid patients.
Infectious disease doctors have said sa online discussions includeing Dr Agbayani that you need high-dose ivermectin to have anti-viral effect but detrimental sa host. And you need better clinical trials to know its real effect (parang hydroxychloroquine all over again).
But personally, sana after the ongoing trials, sana maging effective nga ang ivermectin para matapos na itong pandemya.
Well at least afaik, he doesn’t sell ivermectin unlike Dr Landrito na may conflict of interest since he sells or have sold his own ivermectin.

Been to Asian Hospital for my eye checkup. Una natatakot ako, I thought puno sya and I'll be dodging people left and right.
Its not the scenario I'm expecting.

[emoji23]
