I have not seen another Alvin Patrimonio in terms of mastery of the paint and the ability to get of a shoot from anywhere near the court. The spin move is just icing on the cake. The real secret to patrimonio's inside moves is his knowledge of where he is on the shaded at all times and where the basket is. kaya mahirap tapalin. Plus malakas talaga ang upper body niya. He manhandled guys 4-6 inches taller than him in the 1994 hiroshima games iirc correctly. Hindi nga kaya nang centers natin yun. kaya si patrimonio basta yumuko at nag-araro, sabit ka na. Dignadice could only try to tap the ball para lang mapigilan. Yun lang at aggressive double teams.

After the great loyzaga, alvin is the next best player the Philippine's has ever produced IMHO. Closely ranked with Ramon F siyempre.

Sa footwork at all around game si Ranidel De Ocampo matinik at malakas din katawan alam din kung asan sya lage sa paint talino maglaro

Si Larry Rodriguez of ROS isa pa mahusay sa ilalim yun wala lang talagang matinee idol looks pero kapag pinasahan sa ilalim yun lista mo na kahet gipet nagagawan ng paraan yun il take larry rodriguez all day everyday kung kay Enrico Villanueva or Doug Kramer lang tapon ang sabaw sa dalawang yan parang pag salo ng bola sa ilalim pwede na pakawalan abangan mo na lang rebound haha

i agree.

i think the only players of the past that could be relevant today would be caidic and abarrientos. both are incredibly cerebral players gifted w/ amazing talent. but of the 2, i'd say johnny a. would be the best ever given the stats and the intangibles he brought to his team. unfortunately, he wasn't on a glamorous team w/ glamorous teammates. iyong isa niyang kakampi may bala pa nga naiwan sa wetpu

wala sir.. karamihan kasi ng mga player ngayon puro NBA mga ginagaya like jordan,kobe,lebron meron na nga bago durant.
iba na din kasi style ng basketball ngayon baka di na umubra pero nakakamiss pa din ang oldschool
