TALK 'N Text is the most aggressive among a host of teams seeking KIA's first-pick in the next PBA rookie draft in a trade, multiple sources told Spin.ph.
The flagship franchise of the MVP group is already possession of the No. 1 pick overall, which it acquired when it swapped first-round selections with expansion team Blackwater in a trade early in the season.
But Talk 'N Text, sources said, is also pursuing a trade for KIA's first-round rights, which would give the Tropang Texters the top two selections in a rookie pool laden with talent.
Those two selections could mean getting Moala Tautuaa and Troy Rosario, who can boost the frontline of a team in need of a major facelift, now that most of its top players are pushing well past 30.
One information fed to Spin,ph bared Talk 'N Text is willing to part ways with 2014 second-pick overall Kevin Louie Alas, just so the Manny V. Pangilinan franchise can get its hands on the precious KIA pick.
Another option, sources said, is a three-way trade involving sister team NLEX Road Warriors. The three-team transaction was supposed to be approved on Monday but had to go to revisions anew.
