Props to Coach Alex Compton. I felt he out-coached Leo Austria throughout the series and it was by luck SMB won in the final seconds of Game 7 despite having the edge in players (at least on paper). Give it another minute of game time and the results would have been different.

Yup, very bad move. Dapat nung 1-3rd quarter siya nagbabalasa nang husto para makapahinga pangtapos nya. 4times na muntikan mahabol after such big leads, obviously may mali.

but then again, austria brought back the most prestigious pba conference trophy back to smb and to danding after 14 long humiliating years w/ a team notoriously known for players w/ stadium sized egos - in his very first conference at that. i even think it's a testament to coach leo's character that he got santos and the fil-ams miraculously working together as a unit to achieve one goal. alam niyo naman kung gaano ka-divisive ang beermen dati kaya panay ang palit ng personnel
