i think marami syang natulungan sa probinsya nya
then there is nothing wrong in buying expensive car or huge house after all sarili nyang pera yan at alam ng buong pilipinas na lumaki sa hirap at yumaman si pac sa boxing..hindi sa politics

October 25th, 2011 01:30 AM #17I disagree. Iba kasi ang dating kahit sabihin mong pera nya yan. Dahil Congressman siya. Hindi biro yun. (Well, dapat. Pero alam mo naman...)
As a publicly appointed government official, it is your duty to give it your all. Kaya nga tawag diyan, 'public servant'. But he's seen splashing money around, while a lot of people are still below the poverty line.
That way, nobody would think bad of him with how he spends his money. Sure, he's not the only government numbskull doing this sort of thing, but he's a poster child of the country due to the media spotlight.
Tawag diyan, delikadeza.

October 25th, 2011 10:55 AM #20No, what I meant was this.
Read that and tell me you see nothing wrong with a Congressman acting like that. Since he's actively serving as Congressman, he should exercise prudence in how he is spending his money in the face of a large number of people still living in poverty even in his jurisdiction. Aka, delikadeza.
That's what I think is wrong. Not the fact with how he spends his money, but the fact he spends it on vastly expensive luxury items while serving as a relatively high public official. Of course, almost nobody cares because this is Pacquiao and a lot of people are wearing their "Pinoy Pride/Pacquiaofanboy" blinders all the time to care. If somebody other than him did this, people will howl and cry foul. Look at PNoy's Porsche, for instance.
I reiterate, If he wanted to enjoy his money while helping others, why not just put up a foundation or something similar? (thing is, he's already been brainwashed by those bloodsucking maggots crawling around him.)
For minimum/daily wage earners, sayang yung extra day. Last night in the news there was one would...
