Pacquiao-Morales still on!
Sunday, September 11 2005
Top Rank has announced Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiao is still on for January 21, despite Morales' shock setback against Zahir Raheem. No site is yet set for that bout, which will be telecast on HBO-PPV. When Morales was asked why he's facing Pacquiao instead of Raheem, 'El Terrible' said, "Pacquiao says he wants to take my head off. Let's see if he can do it."Signature

Morales looked sluggish today. He came in at 150 tonight, 140 when he faced Pacquiao last March Morales better get his conditioning fixed up or he'll eat up a lot of Pacquiao's punches especially now that he seems more confident in using his right hand.
I was able to catch Pacquiao's interview after his bout with Velasquez and his English has improved a lot Lampley and Merchant were very impressed.
