How about yung Virgin Coconut Oil? "Cure all" din itong langis na ito. Nadagdagan ang yaman ni Hortaleza rito. Kikinis ang balat, gamot sa mga acidic, pati AIDS, kayang gamutin (daw!).

Yung Glutathione, which is supposed to be na anti-oxidant, totoo bang nakakaputi ito? Daming artista nagamit nito.

panlaban nila are their testimonies and endorsement

though some medicinal food suplements undergo a medical test like lagundi (ascof) for cough well documented na ito so they are already sold as drug and not as supplements

the products of e.excel are good as well, the chemist studies various extracts to create a potent medicinal conconction

parang sa mga vitamin supplements and slimming pills: "for best results, use with a proper diet and exercise..." wow! hanep! syempre if you're eating right and getting enough exercise, there's no need for supplements at malamang hindi ka tataba.

Macaclassified kasi silang medicine pag tinanggal nila iyong "No Approved Therapeutic Claims". Besides that ipepresent pa nila iyong product nila sa FDA or BFAD sa atin para mawala yang "No Approved Therapeutic Claims".

Kaya sya tinawag na food supplement at hindi gamot.

That "NO APPROVED THERAPEUTIC CLAIMS" that is required on food supplements is to protect the interests of pharmaceutical companies who manufacture patented synthetic drugs.

As far as the US FDA is concerned, dietary supplement manufacturers/marketers are not allowed to claim that their products can cure diseases.

Only drugs that undergo clinical trials and then get FDA approval can make therapeutic claims. Dietary supplements are not required to undergo clinical trials and FDA approval.

If people use food supplements for heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, arthritis, etc instead of pharmaceutical drugs, malulugi ang Big Pharma.

It's about the money. It's not about if if works or not.

    Glutathione works.

    Glutathione is a tyrosinase inhibitor.

Tyrosinase is an enzyme that catalyzes the production of melanin.

    Melanin = skin pigmentation.

U block tyrosinase, u reduce melanin production.

    ------------------------------------

there are many other dietary supplements that work so well they border on the effectivity of pharmaceutical drugs.

But Big Pharma wouldnt test them or market them coz those substances are natural and cant be patented. So they cant make money out of it. So they dont bother.

ako ok naman ako sa mga herbal supplements na yan, basta do your research well. katulad ng taheebo, parang ang ganda ganda ng commercial, sabi pa ni charlene ginagawa na daw niyang tubig. eto ang sabi ng doh.

    http://www.bfad.gov.ph/BC/bc%2017%20s%202004.pdf

sabi ko nga sa parents ko, ok ang herbal, pero hindi lahat ng herbal ay safe. tandaan natin na ang shioktong(? tama ba yung pampalaglag na nabibili sa quiapo?) ay herbal din.

black cohosh tea hindi pwede sa buntis kasi nakakapag cause ng paghilab. etc... basta if you plan on taking any herbal products, do your research first.

honestly, its sickening to see all these commercials.

what's being verbally said in the advertisement and what's written on their product label contradicts.

the commercials are aimed at the masses. That's where the money is.

The products are aimed at people who are ignorant or dont care to know the science or the chemicals or the mechanism of action behind the products.

Just notice the names of the supplements --- Liveraide, Heartvit, Arthro, Kidney Care, Circulan, Fitrum, etc

That's how they can get the attention of the masses. Using names even idiots can understand.

The mass market do not ask questions like "ano sangkap nyan?'

    They ask "para saan yan?"

    ------------------------------------------

Iba talaga ang pinoy consumer. Branding is everything. As long as u get ur brand into the consciousness of pinoys , u will make tons of money.

One sure way to make lots of money here is to pay a celeb to endorse ur product and get lots of TV airtime.

A chemical compound --- like ibuprofen or paracetamol --- which only costs cents to produce --- and pay Manny Pacquiao to sell ur product ---

If there's a way to get rich quick --- that's one way.
