    the loooonngg 3 has loosen up the defense... pag may nag-double na, ang ginagawa yung baseball pass hanggang sa may free na 3-pt shooter.

    Distrito was banned after the very hard clothesline foul he did on Jeff Cariaso. When Cariaso was rushing for a fast break, Distrito chased him and grabbed him by the neck and pull him down. Cariaso came down crashing and was unconscious for a few minutes.

    I think Jawo got away with a lot more like punch JoLas on the stomach and pushing Fabiosa to the sidelines which broke Fabiosa’s shoulder.

    I started appreciating basketball at a young age. Hehehehe

    Did you know that a number of the PBA greats played under one team in the 80s? The Northern Consolidated team was composed of the best young basketball talents in the 80s under the helm of Ron Jacobs. The team includes Caidic, Codinera, Calma, Ricky Brown, Samboy Lim, Jarencio, Al Solis, Jong Uichico, etc.

    Before Laimbeer and co. bullying their way, there was the classic Kevin Mc Hale clotheslining Kurt Rambis while he was about to score on a layup during the '84 Finals pero it was just a plain foul, di pa uso flagrant foul noon.

    The 80s Celtics were a physical team. McHale and Parish were not exactly good guys on the court. You got Bird also who was the greatest trash talker. Doc Rivers played for the 80s Celtics team and he understands the value of defense on a team.

    Doc Rivers played alongside Dominique Wilkins at Atlanta. What made that "clothesline" tackle on Rambis possible was when Bird said that they played like sissies after being blown out by the Lakers.
