^ sa tingin ko howard will be a good backup center to whoever he's going to relieve. he's still a decent defender who can impose his will inside and once in a while change shots in the perimeter if he's not too deep inside the paint. last i saw him in washington, he was still pretty mobile for his age pero not as explosive as before.

iyon nga lang i've read he's coming off of a back surgery so baka medyo apektado nimbleness niya.

offensively, i think he's going to chip in several points in the game via those multiple screen pick and roll plays. iyon ang pag utilize sa kanya sa short stint niya w/ the wiz so baka ganun din ang role niya sa offensive sets ng lakers.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) A relative of NBA star Kawhi Leonard has confirmed his sister is one of two women accused of robbing and killing an elderly woman at a Southern California casino.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise reports the aunt of 35-year-old Kimesha Williams confirmed Saturday that Williams is the sister of the Los Angeles Clippers forward.

Authorities say Williams and an accomplice followed an 84-year-old woman into a bathroom at Pechanga Resort Casino on Aug. 31, broke her skull and stole her purse. The victim died Wednesday.

A Riverside County sheriff's investigator is asking a judge to keep Williams held without bail, saying she may flee and ''has family that are well-off and could post her bail.''

Leonard attended high school in the area. He led the Toronto Raptors to their first NBA championship during the 2018-19 season before signing with the LA Clippers.

AFAIK, ABS-CBN still has free TV airing rights of the NBA although may article ang Spin.ph that ABS-CBN and ESPN5 (TV5) are fighting for the rights of showing NBA games on Cable (aside pa yan sa FOX Sports)

If im a regular employee at abs, i'll jump ship na knowing walang kasigaruduhan ang employment ko next year and beyond. Also if im NBA, why would i deal with a station that is about to loose its franchise? So next year makikipag negotiate ulit ako sa iba. If im NBA, i want it to be multi year since PH market is big for them.

^ di pa naman sure ang abs-cbn sa nba broadcasting rights. Tv 5 is still in the thick of things and is pushing hard at the negotiating table, as far as i know.

I won't be surprised if a lot of abs-cbn employees are currently updating their resumés quietly.
