I think the Wizards' lineup improved significantly since they needed veteran smarts to guide the youger players.
They're weak at the center position, especially if they go up against top tier NBA teams like the Lakers, Nets, Kings, and Mavs. Haywood, White and Thomas don't scare anybody.
On the other hand, they're gonna give other teams a headache at the SF and OG position.
I hope they go further than they did last season. Baka hindi na makalaro si M.J. after this one.
I am a big Lakers fan!! (taga-LA kasi but recently moved to Florida)
But the Lakers were pretty much even with Sacramento in the West Finals last season, with only experience and spirit allowing them to win. Now the Queens :mrgreen: have experience AND they got better with some offseason acquisitions while the Lakers have stayed the same...
The league is pretty much like this:
----> LA, Sacramento
----> Dallas, San Antonio
----> everyone else :wink:
Oh well, hopefully Phil and the boyz find a way to pull it out and make it 4.
i am also a laker fan, but kung titignan mo lineups. sacramento also retained all of their players sa 2002 season and these players extended the lakers sa western conference finals.
this will also be the last season of david robinson (san antonio spurs), kaya baka maganda laruin nya ngayon. coupled with tim duncan, ang laki ng frontline nila.
the transfer of mutombo sa new jersey nets made them a match for LA too. walang ka-match si jason kidd sa NBA (maski si iverson sisiw kay kidd). adding mutombo strengthened their front line.
ang masisiguro ko lang siguro....2003 NBA champs will still come from the west. it will just be a tossup between LA or Sacramento.
