Ouch! Scraped by the bike or on the trail?

Being a not so good rider, I have a number of battle scars on my left and right shin as well. [emoji28]

    Usually it’s the pedal.

Nakuw, eyeing a Saint pedal pa naman sana as replacement for my crankbrothers once they conked out. But pavement riding lang naman so not that high a risk of accident.

(Old) Shimano Saint pedal user here too (PD-MX80). So far so good. Pavement + light trail rider here, though I do occationally bomb technical trails.

I’m just curious… are you really riding this on drop while on the trail? Or on the hood most of the time?

Im on the hoods for light trails. When things get gnarly, I ride on the drops (and also drop my seat).

Those trails that I have ridden countless times when my bike was still on flatbars became enjoyable again! And much more fun [emoji16]

    Saang trail yan sir? [emoji76]

As for me, nag positive na naman ako sa Upgrid-19. Eto reseta ko [emoji28]

On the upside, natuto rin ako sa wakas ng rim lacing, truing, dishing, and tensioning.

26er. As for my spokes, I used Sapim D-Light spokes, paired with Sapim Polyax aluminum nipples.

Isa pa pala sa natutunan ko, is how to compute the right length of spokes to use given my rim's ERD, and the dimensions of my hubs. Hehe

Guilty as charged, though hindi pa malala sakit ko.

Good choices ha. Very good build lalo na at 350's gamit mo. Mas okay yan. Mas matibay sa 240 at 180 na maliliit bearings. Pwede naman upgrade ang ratchet eh.

Pwede ka na mag-sideline as bike mechanic sir hehehe
