I heard wild boars are really tasty. It is legal to eat and roast them there? Lol!
Pedalled and pushed all the way to Mt. Ugo from Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya. We then went down the other side of the mountain for some gnarly downhill goodness and landed in Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet.
Probably the best ride I've ever done.

I wish I had the time to visit far off places especially those enduru trails. It's more urban freeride for me finding the steepest stairs to go down. That is if the secu at BGC and Makati are not roaming around, LOL! I'm planning to go down the stairs of the foot bridge in Greenbelt. I've been dreaming of doing this. Pretty steep and lots of fun. But, for the safety of others, I'm going to do this in the wee hours of the morning where there's no one around. LOL!
Pretty much got inspired by these guys:
Gear up! Full face helmet on and yeehaaa!!![]()
The closest to Chile's steepness in the Philippines is Baguio. Going there next month to fix some transaction. Then, take my bike and find some really good place to go downhill.![]()
Have you tried sungay? Talisay to tagaytay going up, no relief whatsoever..

Meet your Philippine MTB Team (XC and DH) competing this week in Danao City, Cebu, for the Asian Mountain Bike Championships.
In addition to being Continental Champions, Winners qualify for the UCI World Championships this year along with the Asian games!

^Will be cheering for team Philippines!! I hope there's a YouTube video on this event. Should be fun!!
Did some jumps, then bam! The dreaded pedal strike! Yet again. lol
It hurts. It hurts you know.
Thinking of going clipless, but, then again, not for me. Flat all the way. A lot of freedom and much safer to bail out. But, I must pay really close attention on how I place my foot on the pedal. Don't commit if the foot position on the pedal feels awkward. It won't always come out right. Technique first always.
Martin Whiteley just confirmed that Fujimi Panorama will be bidding for a World Cup slot in 2021. If that happens, then asia finally gets a World Cup after so long.
He adds that he'll be flying over to Japan late this year to check the venue out. Hope I get to meet him. ;)

Made a noob's guide to Timberland Blue Zone 2 (aka "Blue Short", "Enduro Line", "Blue New"). This trail is in San Mateo, Rizal.
There's some minimal anti-shake put in so note that the trail is not as smooth as it looks (filmed Friday the 13th at about 11am so it was kinda slippery). In case you're wondering, the mad-made features were put in by Edmund and his team prior to the 2018 TKOM race.
