DEYM! They need to shave a lot of weight then... though that would often involve a lot of kevlar...

if you're normally-proportioned i.e. no abnormally long/short legs arms etc. then 19" is most likely too small for you. sakto lang sakin 19" but you're taller than me

    try test driving 20 21 22

as for wheel size that's up to you. just don't believe all the hype. there's too much BS in the mountainbiking world

regarding wheel size, it depends on application and your riding style. smaller wheel size offer better maneuverability(eg. slope style), acceleration(on smooth surfaces eg. pump tracks, flowy trails) and stiffness (for DH application) while bigger wheels offer more stability and carries momentum easier(which is why XC racers prefer 29ers). another benefit to bigger wheel size is it makes full rigid viable without a jarring experience...

though nowadays, I'm beginning to think wheelbase is more important than wheel size...

    29 27.5 26

small difference between 26 and 27.5 so if you can find a good used bike in 26" go for it but if you're buying new go for 27.5 because 26 is expected to die in the mid to highend segment

yeah these days i like short 35mm stems and long effective top tube lengths. lets me descend confidently without constantly having to shift weight to the back. you do however need to not forget to shift weight to the front when cornering i guess a longer chainstay length could theoretically mitigate some of that but longer chainstays introduce a new set of problems LOL

i guess there's no geometry that's perfect for everything

well, there is a certain sweet spot of how long and slack you want to be...

Will a longer and slacker bike make you a better rider? | ENDURO Mountainbike Magazine

the downside of having it too long is manualing is gonna suck arse.

Hope you guys try out the local enduro races. It's a fun experience which every rider should at least try once. ;-)

Hindi naman kailangan sobrang seryoso as most of the participants ride for fun. Hindi rin naman strikto sa bike basta lang at least 120mm travel nung fork, even hard tails are good to go. ;-)

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. :-)

Ang bike scene dito sa pinas overspandex and overaccessorize.

Spandex ang top, spandex short, mighty kid looking shoes, neon socks.

Hindi ba kayo makapag leisure bike na jeans, shirt and sneakers....

haha walang basagan ng trip. i really don't care what other people wear

me personally i tend to wear drifit shirts (long and short sleeved) in solid bright colors. or TLD jerseys. no stupid logos of brands that don't sponsor me so no way i'm wearing their logos LOL

anyway we just climbed this today

just built this wheel. definitely not a straightforward build

4-cross on the brake side. 3-cross on the other. with different spoke lengths and nipple sizes

Patiis is my home trail. Won't be racing as we are the group hosting this leg (and also due to a broken rib).

If you're joining and need a guide please feel free to comment here or send me a pm, and I'll gladly help you out. ;)

    Cheers!
