currently in the process of creating a new project bike that I'll use for "light" enduro.
the frame I'll be using is a small sized 2014 GT Sensor. On paper, one might be scratching his head since it only has 130 mm of vertical travel. But in reality, it actually has 147 mm travel which pretty much makes it an All Mountain bike which is why most people pair it with 150-160 mm fork to balance it. Being a light person, 160+ mm of travel is a bit overkill and I fancy myself climbing more.
it's a long term project so stay tuned!
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
muddy/rocky technical climb to be exact. the reason why I'm getting one is because I'm already reaching the limits(bottoming out more often than I'm comfortable with) of my XC/monstercross 80mm travel hardtail bike. it's very frightening downhill...
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
just designed the local group's jersey
nothing fancy though it took me a while to draw

Planning mag buo ng isa pa na bike. Giant yung current bike ko. Okay pa din ba mag giant or other brands na? Any suggestions?
what role do you plan for the bike?
do you like climbing or descending?
do you pedal a lot?
do you use dropper post?
here is a guide for choosing wisely:

merida and giant suspension are DW link by the way.
as for me, I chose GT because I like climbing and efficient pedaling a lot

man, really envious that you guys have actual bike parks.
we mostly ride "carabao trails".
climbing is challenging enough with deep and uneven animal hoof prints(requires plenty of hopping)
it scares the living sh*t out of me to descend with an 80mm travel fork
lol
but I guess we make do with portable shovels
location: 16°48'18.8"N 121°28'37.1"E
and yeah, it's mostly farmland beside mountains.

Here's some snippets of the "light" enduro course: 16.812437, 121.427361
it might look flat but to get there, you have to climb about 200 meter ranges with very steep technical ascent/descent(20% gradient). I'll record it on an action camera next time. Didn't take photos of the gnarly bits for obvious safety reasons. Just the picturesque ones.

Hmmm... I'm torn between getting the 2016 Fox 36 150mm and upcoming the 2017 with black stanchions...
I'll be getting this exact model and color of frame.
