Reminds me of the Mechwarrior robots, especially the Locust & Jenner types. I can't wait for a type Shadow Hawk and Timber Wolf to be developed with REAL pulse lasers.

The basic shape of the Land Walker kinda reminds me of a Mad Dog Battlemech.

Ang type kong battlemech is the almighty Atlas! Pwede na rin siguro yung Kodiak...

IMHO, the mech Kodiak is only good for close range. The Atlas is a big target with it's high mounted weapons and slow speed. I have taken out Atlas mechs with Locusts & Jenners.

My primary custom mech was the Timber Wolf with 2 long range missile pods and 8 E.R. medium range lasers. Also equipted with jumpjets (for added speed & flight) & heatsinks.

hehe mechwarrior, my fav is the Madcat with full LRM loadout and probably 2 MR lasers. i can take out mechs even before they reach me to fire their PPCs or Gauss rifles. but when my missiles run out, i run like hell

Atlas at Daishi yung favorite ko, tapos puro lasers at heatsink hehehe tinamad ako mag hit and run e, kaya dinaan sa brute force :D

sayang mabagal yung foam canon ng walker na yan. imagine all the fun you could have if it fired at full-auto hehe pwdeng pang crowd control :D

That's the problem with projectile based weapons, they run out of ammo. With my medium laser config, I can fire them in a single salvo, enough to blow off a leg in two or three strikes. The LRMs are just used to soften up the targets.

meron ako yung mechwarrior 2 mercenaries, tska mechwarrior 3. may topak lang nga yung 3 kasi ayaw magplay yung intro video ng matino.

hanapin ko nga yung mga disc na yun para mapahiram ko :D. mechwarrior 2 mercenaries was the 1st orig na game na i bought, sa national bookstore SM North EDSA nung 3rd year HS ako. heheh.

grabe yung mechwarrior 1. hirap nung last stage, sinusugod ka ng mga battlemaster, tapos olats pa yung mga lancemate mo. :lol:

FARK! Meron din ako nyan! Natapos ko yung game using a Marauder. Medyo simple lang yung game dynamics, sa last mission all you have to do is to survive long enough to touch the fort. Kahit hindi pa destroyed lahat enemy mechs, ok lang.

Dyan nagsimula yung Mechwarrior/Battletech addiction ko. Had all Mechwarrior games + MechCommander 1&2. Also playing MechAssault + MA: Lone Wolf. Meron din akong mga paperback novels.

Sa old skool Inner Sphere mechs, fav ko yung Marauder. Assault class with 2 PPCs, 1 Gauss rifle and 2 medium lasers. Complement with a Rifleman and/or Catapult for long-range support + another Heavy/Assault mech at kumpleto na ang lance ko.

Sa new school Clan mechs, kahit anong Omni pedi sa akin. Super-configurable naman eh. Kaya pedi kong palitan yung armor-weapon loadouts depending on the mission.

Clan Wolf-in-Exile - Clans
Eridani Light Horse, Kell Hounds, Wolf's Dragoons - Mercernary Units

basta sakin sa mechcommander 2, assault mech na loadout is 1 long tom, the rest eh large pulse lasers and maximum armor. keso! hehehehe.

tapos 1 star made up of blood asp omnimechs or atlas with that configuration... :D

pipila na ako sa waiting list kung gumawa sila ng fully armed and fully functional na RX-93-1 nu Gundam or yung heavy weapons variant or yung RX-93-2 hi-nu Gundam. :D

Ay lufit niyan! Gundam enthusiast din pala kayo sir. Meron ako niyan Nu Gundam ung lumang kit nga lng nde pa un MG.

Nde na malayo ang ganyan technology. Marami na robots na almost perfect na ang human-like walking and balancing routines like the Honda Asimov and yun mga miniature models na parang toys like Robosapien and Sony Aibo. Probably in around 10 years time may almost human-like na android na among us. Kelangan na lng idevelop pa ang AI technology saka speech modules. Mga servos, actuators and hydraulics naman continuous ang development niyan so nde na tlga malayo maging fluid-like ang motion nila. Sarap cguro mag-aral ng robotics sa Osaka University.

I believe Japan will become a Robot super power given their advancement in the field. Baka mamaya magulat na lng tayo na un mga anime na napapanood natin is meron na talaga, say Voltes V and Camp Big Falcon somewhere in one of the islands of Japan.
