both, either way gives a win a complete mma artist are those that can win by ko with their punching skills and likewise able to forced their opponents into submission and tap out on the ground.

I likened it with boxing technical fighter like marquez and knockout artist manny pacquiao. Of course i pick the latter it is much exciting to watch imo.

Tap out. Total control of the situation.
Knocking someone out is dangerous business. You're walking the fine line between hitting him hard enough to knock him out but not hitting him so hard you break his neck or cause internal bleeding.

Tap-out via punches! Mas ok ground-and-pound then bigla ka magshift into submission. Ultimate damage.. Pag KO ka kase umasa, there would come a time na makatapat ka ng opponent na kaya tumanggap ng hard punches..
Minsan meron ding KO na "lucky punch" lang.. Sasabihin lang ng iba "he just got caught"..
