    im going to buy a home gym, but don't know which is better, the one with weigth plates or no weight plates? which is better of this two models, Impex mwm 2001 or wm1505? my budget is not more than 17k. if u have any suggestion or recomendation of other brands that is better, pls do advice. tnx.

    wow nice machine. i would love to have one of those... but my trainer changed my routine and moved me from machines to free weights, so ok na ako kung bili ako ng bench hehehe.

    what can you do with that machine? flys, lats... ???

    A machine limits what you can do and provides some assistance din sa weight mismo, so it's less flexible than a free weight set. For most novices, a machine may yield better results since it forces you to follow correct form (assuming you adjusted the seat/pins correctly).

    Mas sulit ang bench, power rack + free weights, but if you're just doing this for fitness and not weightlifting or bodybuilding, machines make more sense.

    Based on the two models posted, I'd DEFINITELY get the WM1505 over the 2001. I hate hydraulic-based systems... With a weighted machine, if the day comes where you outgrow the weight stack, you can always dump a couple of slotted plates to add weight, as opposed to dumb hydraulic shocks na yun na yun...

    Also, it's so much easier to switch a pin than turn knobs...

    Hi guys, I'm 110 lbs at 5'8". Talagang sobrang payat, got from years of overworking. I'm planning to go to a gym since my work is not that demanding anymore. Do you think I should enroll or just get one of these home gyms as a start or do both? Which is which?

    worked with both machine and free weights and i also had a machine home gym before when i was in college. i'd go for the free weights din.

    hirap pag may trainer hehehe. talagang pipigain ka. ''lower lower.. higher higher!" "ok, 2 more reps"... "you have 1 more set..." "rest over!"

    but atleast you maximize your workout, and do it properly.

    best result talaga, combination of diet and exercise like theveed said.

    yung Eat, eat, eat ang talagang hirap na hirap ako... ang hina ng appetite ko sobra.. paano ba lalakas ito? i've tried every available appetite stimulant.. to no avail.

    Is it okay for me to take those weight gain powder? Which brand is the best? Sorry folks for my questions, I'm not good in internet searching, too lazy, hehehe. Gusto ko ang naman kasi ay makaabot man lang ako ng kahit 130-140.

    meron nagbebenta sa akin ng used gym equipment, and pwede din sya mag custom made. masyadong mataas ang cholesterol and triglyceride. what i do now is 30-40min of treadmill almost everyday. will lifting weights help more or ok na yung treadmill?

    free weights talaga for me kasi eventually if you're really into it, you'd have to pile up more weights for your work-out.

    (and, pag sa gym, merong trainer who's gonna push you. eh sa bahay, sino? yung katulong ang taga-spot para sa yo.. nyehehehe)

    kaka-addict kasi ang gym ngayon.. hehehe oops OT na ko...

    para sa kin importante sa treadmill is atleast may heartrate monitor sya para alam mo kung effective yun workout(cardio or fat burn). yun may computation rin on how much you've burned and other info like how far you ran and what speed.

    actually naka pag enroll ako mga 2 yrs sa fitness first, at slimmers world lifetime member ako, problem is, i hate to see those "pa-sosyal" na mga tao, pumupunta dun para lng mag kwen2han at maki pag yabangan ( malakas na boses habang ng kkwen2 ng mga mern at gano kamahal bili nila). at demanding job ko (advertising) kaya tinatamad nko pumunta p ng gym. at maraming tao sa gym. kaya naicipan ko bili nlng ako ung home gym, for exercise lng naman hindi pag body builder. so tingin niyo ok n ung wm1505? ok naman e2ng brand? us brand siya but china assembled. o mern kyo alam mas maganda at mas cheaper but god quality. tnx.

    pag duty ako sa 3rd deck ng aming office ako nag gym kumpleto rin, threadmill, st. bike and squash ang cardio ko

    pag sa pinas sa FF fairview mostly peron minsan sa greenhills kung saan abutin, thread mill, stepper and cylclone ang cardio ko.

    Whey protein everyday, and i used to take creatime monohydrates chewable before hilo ang side effect sakin so i stopped.

    For me doesnt matter kung maraming maingay, pasosyal na member sa gym as long na ang free ang equipment na gagamitin mo and nobody talks to me while im working out.

    I used to have 23% body fat and im down to 15% still long way to go to achieve my goal
