Its a no-brainer that softdrinks contains a lot of sugar/glucose, so drink in moderation.

Same here and ayaw ko lasa ng coke lalo na pag naiwan na sa bibig. Yes it has high level of sugar, not good for the body especially to those who come from a family with history of diabetes.

    Syempre hinde healthy ang coke.

Coke is currently waging a huge global advertising campaign.

There was a recent study that shows how effective the McDo brand is on kids.

Food tastes better daw if it comes in a Mcdo wrapper --- according to kids.

Well ganyan talaga ang purpose ng Marketing to get more customers. Ditto with liqour and cigarettes. It will be up to the disgression or the buying public whether they'll buy or not.

Kaya nagkaroon ng negative image ang McDo after the movie Supersize Me.

Di natin masasabi kung sino may kasalanan.

McDo or other fast food companies do not point a gun to our heads to make us swallow their saturated fat-laden burgers and fries and sugary softdrinks.

They pay advertising companies to market their brand and they do so very very effectively.

Thing is, kids grow up around all this adverstising and are strongly influenced by brands.

    Branding is very powerful.

Their reason?- They're running a business..... Pero, hindi ba puwedeng business with conscience(social responsibility)?... Their response? They're doing it (after they reap their profit) through sponsorship of charitable works et al. E di advertisement na naman ito?

Well, we consumers have a choice. It's just that we need true information to make intelligent choices......

That's why there's an obesity epidemic in the US. Ground Zero sila ng fast food culture. And they export that culture all over the world.

People in countries who used to eat healthy are now dropping dead from clogged arteries. Isa tayo dun.

Kids these days are growing up in an environment of 24/7 advertising. Companies strongly influence the choices of kids, and parents have to give in to what the kids want. Parang powerless ang magulang no?

Thanks to Supersize Me, nagkaroon ng consciousness ang mga tao sa effects ng burgers, fries and coke. Fatty liver! Screwed up glucose metabolism!

Coke, Mcdo, Jollibee etc have huge advertising budgets. With a catchy message and right amount of spin... and celeb endorsers, they can actually convince people that their products are healthy!

Look what coke is doing. They are convincing us coke is a healthy drink.

And it's working. Kaya na-umpisa ang topic na ito.

If Coca-Cola is healthy, then there's no such thing as unhealthy food. Tama ba?

imo.. for adults, drink in moderation.. kadalasan kasi ginagawang tubig ang softdrinks eh.. when your thirsty and you gulped softdrinks to quench your thirst parang di yata napapawi.. for kids, hindi sila dapat sanayin uminom nito.. hangga't bata pa dapat matutunan na nila iwasan or makagawian uminom nito.. they should be thought to prefer water or juice instead of opting for a softdrink especially when eating so it won't turn into a habit later on..
