    Ok my mini analysis

    Round 1
    1. Dwayne Wade
A bit of a stretch as the number 1 pick, however if he continues his finals performance this pick maybe justified. He added a 3PT shot in his repetoire and if he makes around a 100 this season what out. Only concerns with D-Wade are injuries and TO since he handles the ball to much

    2. Kobe Bryant
Another surprise pick at number 2. Make no doubt he is a top 5 NBA player, he can give you all around numbers that a #2 overall pick should give you but he hasn't shown me the consistency to do this night in and night out, he will give you a 25pt 10reb 5assist game and come back the next game and score 40 but with only a handfull of rebounds, assists and steals. One thing he will give you is points, boatloads of points, hows about 82 points in 3 quarters.

    3. Lebron James & 4. Kevin Garnett
A steal period. why? Just look at the numbers. In fantasy its all about the numbers.

    5. Dirk Nowitzki
A good pick at #5, FXT will definitely smile with this pick, good percentages good scoring and rebounding numbers add to it around a steal and a block per game, and low TOs a nice combo

    6. Shawn Marion
Great pick at number 6, had dehadista not picked Marion, he would be my 1st round selection. He gives you that rare combination of threes, blocks and steals and low TOs. I wouldn't worry about Amare's return, despite what he's saying he still doesn't have his explosiveness back an it won't happen this season, the coaching staff will be monitoring his minutes. Expect Marion to post the same numbers he did last season.

    7. Elton Brand
A 2nd round selection last season, he makes a leap to the first round after posting 25ppg 10rpg 2bpg with solid percentages. If he continues posting these numbers then I have myself a solid cornerstone if not well at least I still have a 20-10 stud. He's only 27 and entering his prime, my guess is he will continue to improve.

    8. Tim Duncan
A surprise pick at #8, not because of talent but because of his health, he posted career lows across the board last season because of various foot injuries. If he can stay healthy he will post better numbers and justify this 8th overall selection.

    9. Jermaine O'neal
A surprise pick at #9, yes he is a 20-10 stud when healthy but he turns the ball over too much and shoots a horible percentage from the stripe, a bad combo for a 1st round selection. Also he has battled with injuries the last 3-4 seasons so it is definitely a concern.

    10. Gilbert Arenas
Good pick at #10, scoring, assists, steals numbers are a given, add to that great FT% and he attempts around 10 a game will help you win FT% cat. Only concerns are his high TO and sometimes poor FG%. Overall a great anchor in your PG position.

    11. Yao Ming
Another solid pick at #11, he played the best stretch in his NBA career after toe surgery. Unfortunately his season was cut short because of a broken foot, if he can play for atleast 75 games spiff has himself a solid cornerstone.

    12. Allen Iverson
What can I say, people seem to expect AI to break down but he always proves us wrong. Bai has himself a solid 1st round selection here. If he plays atleast 75-80 games, you can call it a steal.

i want to try something different and Boeing gave me an idea....how about i look at people's teams and comment on them? all in good fun mga bosing and of course everything is imho only as a player and fan (it's not like i'm some kinda expert )

ground rules - i do not suggest picks or mention any player not yet picked (it's not fair to the other players and do your own research! ).

Last season Wade was a consistent player and was seldom injured. Lebron on the other hand was not showing his full potential last season kaya nadismaya ako. Ewan ko lang ngayong season kung ibubuhos nya lahat. I really had a hard time between Marion and Wade. I like Marion a lot and he is really consistent, but then his age might be a problem. Let's just pray that no one will get injured this season.

EDIT: i started to write a couple of reviews, but i realized that i can't do it without giving away potential strategies and tipping off other gm's to a team's potential picks. forget it - it was a stupid idea. i'll just do round 2.

    round 2 analysis

    1. Dwight Howard. remember last year when everyone said "future superstar"? well, it's year 2 and you can erase the word "future" he still can't hit a free throw to save his life, but other than that he has NO weaknesses. domination. durability. solid team with good PG play and shooters to space the floor. still improving. there are still a lot of established star players on the board, but i have visions of the 2004 Amare Stoudemire in my head right now.

    2. Andrei Kirilenko. this guy is fun to have on your team, especially when he gives you 15 pts, 8 rebs, 5 assists, 5 steals and 5 blocks in one game (it's happened!). a bit of an injury risk because he's so skinny and he goes after EVERY blocked shot, but there's no better cornerstone to your defense categories.

    3. Steve Nash. 28 players scored 20+ last year. 10 players got 10 or more rebounds. only Steve Nash averaged more than 10 assists a game, with only 5 players getting 8-9 assists. that's a big advantage.

    4. Tony Parker. why, oh why? the only reason i'd pick the broken fingered Belgian in round 2 is if i got to spend a night with his GF in the bargain. seriously, he's not even healthy to start the season, but even with his best ever year he only helped fantasy players in 3 cats (scoring, fg% and assists), without dominating any of them. what's worse, he doesn't help you with 3's and is a serious liability in ft% and to. if you needed a PG, why would you pick him over Kidd, Paul, Bibby, or even Terry and Hinrich?

    5. Paul Pierce. first round talent that's always underrated. as i said in my league A analysis, see how close his numbers last year were to Wade's (the #1 pick)

    6. Chris Bosh. not as explosive as Dwight Howard, but a similar player. i actually rate him more highly this year than Dwight because he is that rarest of fantasy commodities: a 20/10 center who shoots excellent ft%

    7. Chris Paul. he should have been the 4th PG taken after Wade, Arenas and Nash. the guy scores well, is among the league leaders in assists and steals, and shoots excellent %'s. heck, the guy even rebounds extraordinarily well for a 5-11 guy (he's listed at 6-0 but i could swear he looked smaller when i saw him play). want more praise? Colangelo and Mike K gave Paul, a near-rookie, the steering wheel to the US national team this summer.

    8. Tracy McGrady. if he plays 80 games he should be picked ahead of half the guys in the first round. problem is, he's had this mysterious back problem that shut him down prematurely the last two years. ask ILD how badly he burned me last season.

    9. Ray Allen. i see him overrated a lot, but this is about right for him. he really only truly dominates one category - 3pm- but he is a great help in the %'s and in points.

    10. Jason Kidd. the guy's not the ***y PG pick this year with Wade, Arenas and Paul grabbing the headlines....but in the meantime he just rolls along getting his fantasy owners triple doubles and 2 threes and steals a game. if you can get that at 2.10 you'd be crazy to pass it up

    11. Amare Stoudemire. good pick if healthy. i'm not sure if he is though. i don't like to roll the dice with a second round pick, but if you score with him you'll score big.

    12. Rasheed Wallace. a little high with the 24th pick. Rasheed might rebound a little more with Ben gone, and maybe gets a slight uptick in blocks, but it's tough to spend a 2nd round pick on a center that doesn't rebound and shoots a bad fg%. the threes are nice, but you'd better build your team around that and not expect him to carry you in the big man categories.
