    anak ng...brazil na rin ako!

speaking of brazil, panalo pa rin sila kahit na they're only playing with 10 men. well, pang-eleven is ronaldo, pero naglalakad lang sya, tsaka almost didn't make it to the field sa 2nd half. he-he-he.

a disappointing showing for brasil. they could've done a whole lot better. first game jitters siguro.

He's now happily retired and the slot is deservedly filled in by Dida who by the way had been languishing in he shadow of Taffarel.

Trinidad and Tobago held the mighty blokes of England for 86 min until they finally gave up 2 goals in the last 4 min. The Lions had a lot of chances to break the match wiiiiide open with great feeds by Becks to center pitch but they somehow couldn't finish. Peter Crouch and Frank Lampard had more than a couple of solo volleys only to go wide or get trapped by the magnificent hands of Shaka Hislop. The Socawarriors were obviously beat by the 75th min and it was a matter of time before a breakthrough would occur and it did happen on the 87th min when Crouch towered above the T&T defenders to head the ball into the net just inches away from Hislop's fingertips. Still the Socawarriors pressed on and in fact scored a goal only to have it nullified for being offside by a hair. The match ended 2-nil with Gerrard scoring the 2nd goal for the Lions in injury time...

Wayne Rooney was fielded in during the 2nd half of the match and his moves are still tentative, obviously trying out his injured foot during game conditions before he goes full throttle...

OT: sorry haven't read the whole thread since mabagal na naman tsikot.

i assume may delayed telecast yong mga matches, ano pong channel pinapalabas? pati screening sched na rin if you readily have it. tina-try ko abangan sa solar sport, espn, star sports... somehow, di ko matama-tamaan exact sched nila. i'll go ahead and browse their sites too.

    thanks!
