I got this today, from my inbox. This has something to do about drinking cold water after meals. Sa mga Doctors on board, how true is this? Another myth?

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a glass of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
Kelangan warm water (or maligamgam?), iinumin ko, every after meals? Langya..... Alam ko matatanda lang gumagawa nyan eh . Yung Lola ko noon ganyan, lagi warm water iniinom.

parang it makes sense nga, cold will freeze up the oil pero parang hindi rin kasi yung body temp naman natin is way warmer and as soon as the cold water hits the stomach, baka warm na din yun.. hehehe

im no doctor and gusto ko lang siguro defend na ok yung cold water kasi im guilty of that... hehehe

ang init init na nga warm water pa. oo nga di nag-solidify ang oil pero ano naman kaya feeling mo after the meal entirely. na-refresh ba?

dami masyado nagiimbento ng health conscious.

the thing is eat 2 rice or more, eat more greasy foods, or eat whatever you like just be sure to BURN it afterwards.

being healthy is as simple as law of nature, you take then you give back.

kumain ka ng marami ... and it has pleasured you so so the next thing you do, paghirapan mo mawala naman yun by doing something like work.

Cold water during and just after meals have an effect of slowing down the digestion of food.

So it's really best to avoid cold drinks during meals.

Siguro to help their digestion of the food.
