Slightly OT: Is there even a Lego Club there in Manila? Somebody contacted me a few months back about establishing a Lego club there. I won't disclose his name but when I was there last June to August, I contacted him back and wanted to meet possibly talk Lego's, etc, but I never heard from him ever since so we weren't able to establish anything.
For those who want to join clubs here in southern California there'll be another Lego meet on December 8th. You can join the Lego Users Group Of Los Angeles (basically all of southern California na rin) called LUGOLA - they have a Yahoo group too. Debating whether or not I will join their meeting this time, wala pa ako nagagawa recently. I'll post pics if I do - maybe inspire those who plan to join.

yes! my cousins and i would try to build our own lego land by putting together our lego structures. on one side yung castle, on the other yung space area. sa gitna yung mga police station, fire station, mga bahay, etc... that was over a span of mga 5 years din. ngayon nawala na. my brother gave it away yata. hindi man lang nagpaalam sa akin. would have been nice for my son.

Had quite a few sets as gifts. Ilang beses din kami nag-away ng mga kapatid ko dahil nagaagawan ng mga "rare" parts hehe.
Pangarap ko talaga ang Technik mahal nga lang Mindstorm naman ngayon.

When I finally have children, I want to create a "workshop" room where I can build my own Lego models as a hobby, and at the neighboring room my children can build their own. We'd make contests on building things together.
*Devdevlin, Technics yung tamang spelling Sadly, Lego revamped their Technics sets and became studless. The good old days with studs are gone, but these new ones present wholly different ways of building too!
Speaking of which this thread got me inspired to work on another project...
