i believe the correct expression would be, "their goose is cooked".
and i believe this is true for thruout the world, denggoyvaxia-wise.

It is so frustrating na leaders of our country dont really care about us; they are so busy accumulating wealth and sa pagpa power trip, even if it causes death to young filipinos and selling their souls to the devil!!!!

well,
there are differences between denggvaxia and covid vaccines.

the more glaring difference,
is that it was made clear to the potential users, that the covid vaccines were new and possible ill-effects were not yet extensively investigated.
thus the EUA, emergency use authorization.
it was thought at that time, that the use of the vaccine and its benefits, outweighed the foreseeable ill-effects.
let us remember, this was early on in the reign of covid, when there were a whole lot of unknowns concerning covid.

the denggvaxia vaccine is out in the open, freely available in certain countries.
and it works as advertised, if used as directed.
my guess is, because of its wrong-foot introduction in this country early on, it'll be some time before it will be used more openly locally.

alas, there seems to be no other commercially available dengue vaccine around...
