Seryoso, meron namatay dito sa min 21 y/o pamangkin pa ng doctor, nagpa check up sa ibang hosp, pinauwi after bigyan ng paracetamol, nung bumalik lagnat dito na nagpunta but sorry late na, tried all the options at ICU but sadly bumigay din. Sayang.....

Kung ayaw sa hosp, dami diagnostic centers malapit. mas mura and kaya naman nila basahin if within normal or bagsak na.

basta after 3 days at may lagnat pa din, CBC na agad... yan ang procedure na lagi naman ini-observe ni mrs pag maysakit mga bata... sigurista kasi yun pedia nila.

pero wala naman masama kung i-try din yung camote tops. masarap na gulay naman to... laga lang at sawsaw sa burong isda...

Nakakahawa ba dengue? I called 2 labs na for home service tapos parating no med tech available! I'm getting scared because my lowest temp reading is 38.7 one hour after drinking meds then it will shoot up again to 39.7.

I can't really rest because I've been dreaming about the reports that I missed. Hay.

ma'am di po nakakahawa ang dengue or malaria...kaso dito sa atin ang kaisipan ng iba pag nabanggit yang sakit na yan parang kakatakot lumapit at baka mahawa....

drinking meds to reduce fever doesnt cure you

the infection is still there

you're only suppressing the body's natural reaction to infection

dengue is not contagious

you can't get dengue from another person who has dengue

you have to get bitten by a dengue-carrying mosquito to get dengue

*CFY wag mo nang antayin na dumugo gilagid mo...mas matagal na gamutan daw pag umabot sa ganun...pa check ka na agad....

prevent yourself from getting bitten by these nasty mosquitoes, protect yourself and be equipped with proper knowledge:

1. clean drainage, and avoid creating stagnant water
2. use mosquito net (kulambo)
3. put your aircondition to a lower temperature, mosquito tend to fly low when temp are cold, no mosquito lives in ice
4. use mosquito repellant, especially for the kids, and avoid commercial grade mosquito repellant, it has deet and and harmful for kids. citronella bug spray are excellent and smells like spa, look at humanheartnature.com
5. avoid places infested with mosquitos, such as dark moist alley
6. there are also soaps that repels mosquito, look at allorganics.com.ph

Nakakaiyak nga. Ang babait ng mga tao dito.

These are the times when I hate being away from my family. Nobody to take me to the hospital and stay with me if I get admitted. I do hope it's not dengue. I'll get my results for the platelet count.

Thanks to everyone who gave advise. I dunno nga because we don't have mosquitoes or flies here at home.
