Sweden is now recording lowest infection rate in Nordic Europe...
Not because of Herd immunity but because of T-cell response...
The Sweden Question: Has Controversial Response Led to T-cell Mediated Immunity?
Immune cells for common cold may recognize SARS-CoV-2 | National Institutes of Health (NIH)
“We have now proven that, in some people, pre-existing T cell memory against common cold coronaviruses can cross-recognize SARS-CoV-2, down to the exact molecular structures,” Weiskopf says. “This could help explain why some people show milder symptoms of disease while others get severely sick.”
“It still remains to be addressed whether this immune memory reactivity influences clinical outcomes and translates into some degrees of protection from more severe disease,” adds Sette. “Having a strong T cell response, or a better T cell response may give you the opportunity to mount a much quicker and stronger response.”

As of 4PM today, September 5, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 234,570.
DOH likewise announces 1,136 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 161,668.
A total of 2,529 confirmed cases are reported based on the total tests done by 92 out of 113 current operational labs.
Note: Of the 2,529 reported cases today, 2,145 (85%) occurred within the recent 14 days (August 23 – September 5, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were:
NCR: 968 (45%), Region 4A: 356 (17%) and Region 6: 243 (11%).
Of the 53 deaths, 21 (40%) in September, 18 (34%) in August, 12 (23%) in July, 1 (2%) in June, and 1 (2%) in April. Deaths were from NCR (32 or 60%), Region 3 (6 or 11%), Region 6 (4 or 8%), Region 4A (4 or 8%), Region 1 (2 or 4%), CAR (2 or 4%), BARMM (2 or 4%), and Region 12 (1 or 4%)
There were 30 duplicates that were removed from the total case count. Of these, 15 recovered cases have been removed. In addition, there’s one (1) case that was found to be negative and was removed from the total case count. Moreover, there were two (2) cases that were previously reported as recovered but after final validation, they were deaths.
These numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.

now, that's strange.
from the very start of this pandemic, the raison de etre for the mask, was because one could get infected just by conversing with infected folks, or breathing in the air that they had just exhaled...
...not wearing a mask when talking to perfect strangers...
... an invitation to disaster.
so i am now curious,
what did you think the mask was for?
