I agree with you bro, it is time to micromanage. But the government has to strike a balance and it is not that simple in a complicated world we're in. But it has to start somewhere, and now.

Sa opisina, ang tawag diyan, micromanaging... ibang empleyado, sasabihan ka diyos o hari...

Pero in a national scale, may danger na magtatatak diyan na diktador o martial law...

    Again, our hindsight being 20/20.

Senator Cynthia Villar on health workers' call for two-week ECQ in Mega Manila: Hindi na siguro, pagbutihin nila trabaho nila. Hindi pwedeng isara ang ekonomiya kasi kung di naman mamamatay sa COVID, mamamatay naman sa gutom ang tao

Dami kayang energy. Pushed for legislation in record time (unfortunately unrelated to the pandemic) & that issue with a tv network. Kung gusto nila mabilis nagagawa.

i meant du30 himself... i don't think he has the physical and mental energy to micromanage as shadow suggests

    he's a tired old man

it's people around him who have energy

Not an excuse. He could've told these energetic people to focus on the pandemic instead of wasting precious time and resources on arguably self serving pursuits.

Based on the data, assuming trends continue, that's another 80 people needing hospitalization for today. Add that to the 70+ additional patients yesterday and the day before, ~4-6+ week recovery time for severe and critical patients and you can see how this is guaranteed to snowball into an even bigger crisis if nothing is done.

Baka magaya na doon sa ibang parts ng Texas na pinapauwi na lang yung tingin nila mababa ang chance mabuhay.

What will the difference be to the 2 1/2 months ECQs when we had even fewer cases then?
