let us hope that they have the necessary trained personnel to perform the test, interpret the test result, and do subsequent action, correctly.

How often should companies test their employees?

Uuwi din naman employees everyday, sasakay sa public transpo, makihalobilo sa family at home, mag grocery din pag may time. All of which may chance na mainfect ang emoloyees. So even if negative sila sa first day, pano succeeding days?

Kaya tama lang na no need to test employees. Just practice proper hygiene and physical distancing in the office.

    ^^

    yun nga eh

    pero una meron health check

there's a form employees need to fill up... may fever ba in the past days? may body aches? cough? sipon etc

(well that's hoping the employees are honest)

    temperature check before entering premises

dapat may mask + distancing + hand washing often / use hand sanitizer

    wala muna high fives

ung antibody test is added precaution

at the very least, i should think they should establish baseline values.
subsequent tests, if ever they need to be done, will then have something to compare against.

Loko itong latest advisory ng DoLE (ref: LABOR ADVISORY NO. 18 SERIES OF 22 – GUIDELINES ON THE COST OF COVID-19 PREVENTION AND CONTROL MEASURES | Department of Labor and Employment)

All PPEs, masks, gloves, sanitizers, signages, orientation, disinfecting and other protective and preventive gear, equipment and/or activities, as well as testing, will be charged by contractors to the clients/principals.

This includes contractors in construction, janitorial, security and "other services"

    Napaka broad ng "other services"

pero if 2 people are talking to each other and they're both wearing cloth mask

kahit papano malaking bawas sa talsik laway

there's still a reduction of risk

Remember the mask is supposed to protect others from you in case you are infected... not the other way around.

Coronavirus: hamster research shows effectiveness of masks ‘huge’ in Covid-19 battle, Hong Kong scientists say | South China Morning Post

“In our hamster experiment, it shows very clearly that if infected hamsters or humans – especially asymptomatic or symptomatic ones – put on masks, they actually protect other people. That’s the strongest result we showed here,” Yuen said.

“Transmission [of the virus] can be reduced by 50 [percentage points] when surgical masks are used, especially when masks are worn by infected individuals,” he said.

“Up to this stage, we do not have a safe and effective vaccine. What remains practical is still either social-distancing measures or wearing masks,” Yuen added.

I noticed recently yung mga home sellers, they don't wear masks anymore. Though bumababa lang naman sila ng kotse para mag abot, ang dami pa din nila interactions

Saka nakakatakot sa virus, it sticks to everything: plastic, cloth, paper and metal etc

Question: if a person has covid, lahat ba ng hahawakan niya magkaka covid virus, or yung secretions lang talaga niya? Eg kung bagong ligo siya at naka mask, if that person touches a clean door knob, magkaka virus ba?

people still don't get the "my mask protects you, your mask protects me"

it's still "my mask protects me"

    society needs everyone's cooperation

if everyone wears mask, it will bring down the R-naught # of the virus
