To answer your first question, yes, the government can and will most probably extend the quarantine as many people are still hard-headed.

The second question is a very difficult one, it will probably depend upon how long the extension would be.

WTF!!?!?! Mabaliw baliw na kami dito sa bahay sa pag disinfect ng lahat ng bagay, pati deliveries namin "contactless" then I see photos in some barangays na normal na normal ang buhay at nakatambay sa kanto! This is so unfair for us na nagsa sacrifice to prevent the virus from spreading while others think nothing of it!

i am trying to avoid being a pessimist as much as i could but fact is: There is currently no vaccine or cure for MERS-CoV or SARS-CoV yet so i do not see this COVID-19 to be any different... i hope i am wrong

From what I read, the difference between finding the cure for SARS and MERS and covid19 is that the first two died down quite easily before scientist were able to find a cure and be viable for commercial purposes. No one wants to fund a research that will not yield any profit or gain. Covid19 might actually linger longer and affect more people so finding a cure is a profit generating endeavor.

Mukha lang po malaki yan.. Pero extended families madalas dyan.. And wala po masyadong hangin sa loob.. Usually kulob yan kahit may electric fan.. Mahirap po i-describe yung feeling nung kapag nasa loob ka nung bahay.. May mga friends ako at kakilala na sa ganyang set up ng buhay.. naiinvite kapag may birthday, kasal at kapag gusto ako maging ninang ng anak kaya may idea ako nung feeling sa ganyang environment..

Sa China din mass producer na sila ng PPE pero kinulang pa din. PPE kasi tinatapon na after magamit so ang system since very limited lang stocks nila yung mga healthcare workers hindi nakaka inom ng water for long period of time.. na dedehydrate.. hihina resistensya hangang sa mahawa na sila at magkasakit.

how much more satin. surgical mask nga lang kulang pa. kawawa mga healthcare workers and also their families.
