Why mRNA vaccines are not created equal?

A Mayo Clinic study that tracked infections through mid-July, for instance, found that effectiveness declined especially sharply for the Pfizer vaccine, from 76 percent to 42 percent. The drop was markedly less steep for Moderna, from 86 percent to 76 percent. Some scientists have suggested that a longer interval between initial doses — Moderna recommends four weeks between shots, and the U.K. concluded that eight weeks is optimal — may provide a stronger, more durable shield.

Oh ito sumisikat daw. For me ang melatonin pag wala ka sakit eh mataas na 1mg so dapat start sa .25 to .50.

Pero interesting yung niacin flush kasi naexperience ko yan dati pag nagtake nicotinic acid. So melatonin pala ah.

I wondered what you guys think about this. Dmitry Kat's who is supposedly an epidemiologist/PHD was recently gaining a lot of attention on twitter promoting his protocol of Niacin and Melatonin to cure Covid and vaccine damage. He's since been banned and is now on telegram. He's kicked me out of his group as he doesn't seem to like anyone questioning his protocol or his stance on Ivermectin (which he is completely against). But I have seen quite a few people posting in his groups and on twitter with success stories of curing long Covid symptoms and other health conditions.

He's advising on doses of 20mg melatonin and 1000mg niacin 2/3x a day but also encourages people to take even higher doses of melatonin if they flush from the niacin as supposedly the flush is due to the body not having enough Melatonin.

I am in no way promoting his stuff but am wondering if what he's saying is at all valid and he might be on to something?

Yan melatonin last year pa. Pero combination sa niacin eh bago ito.

Pampatulog melatonin pero pag 3mg mali daw kasi matapang. Effect eh tulog ka pero mababaw at maiksi at hirap na makabalik tulog = zombie effect.

Kaso ang hirap maghanap 1mg or lower kaya ang ginagawa bubuksan capsule para 1/4 or kalahati trial & error sa dosage.

Given the airborne nature of Covid, the primary transmission is by inhaling the contagion. If you are a HCW, then transmission can go via the other routes, but for us normal people, its mostly by inhalation. If your work involves dealing with a lot of people in a closed environment then the risk rises. A crowded environment even if it is in the open air will increase the risk. Wearing a loose mask in such situations will also increase the chances & face shields will help in case anyone sneezes or coughs. I encounter a lot of people in so many different situations who don’t like wearing masks so I took the proactive route by bringing surgical masks to give those I have to work in close quarters with & wear a mask with a silicon shield (sans face shield unless needed or enforced), avoid highly crowded areas, use common sense & treat everybody outside of the household as suspect. There are still lapses though, tao lang…

Delta's spread is due to the source country. Air travel is accessible to many in India, that's why Delta easily spread. Also many countries that had surges have large Indian communities. India did not go into lockdown quickly or banned flights and many countries were slow in putting flight bans. Same with the original Wuhan variant, mainlanders brought it all over the world. Other variants like Lambda may be more contagious, but the spreaders aren't jetsetters.
